23/10/2005 18:37 | Yes, I too noticed that latest statement refers only to gross margin - with no projection as to how much of that gets taken away. | m.t.glass
23/10/2005 17:20 | SEAFRONT Property may be in glut. I dont know why you guys are so excited: Off-plan means AFTER the developers profit margin is already rolled into the cost. And there will be LOADS of competition to find end-buyers or renters. With recession biting in the UK, where are all the high-spending punters going to come from? I believe I prefer BPD, which is commercial property, and where BPD will get some of the developers margin | energyi
22/10/2005 14:40 | phil - All my capital has to be working for me at the moment. If I had some spare dosh which I could set aside as a purely longterm speculative portfolio, I too would probably hold a few. | m.t.glass
22/10/2005 14:22 | Very much still in, not at all concerned by the drop due to my timeframe on this... also like the look at where my money's being spent (and the discount achieved).. Ski straight from the resort onto the Pamporovo pistes which are currently undergoing huge expansion by a number of other companies. Three new pistes with total length of 5 kilometers and two modern four-men lifts will be constructed in Pamporovo at the start of next winter season, announced the management body of SIBANK. As a major creditor and shareholder in "Pamporovo" Plc, the bank has developed an investment project for the sum of 10 million Euro. According to the plans of the constructors, the first lift will connect the center of Pamporovo to the bus station, while the second rope-way will replace the old 2-men chair lift from the bus station to "Studenec" hut. This will provide the resort with lift transport from the hotels to the ski pistes. The new pistes and lifts will to be ready the end of this year according to SIBANK. These plans include also the construction of a 5-star hotel, close to hotel "Perelik". "The ending winter season was very successful", said Cvetelina Borislavova, Chairperson of the Council of Supervisors of the SIBANK. According to her, the number of tourists who visited Pamporovo this season exceeds considerably the number of skiers from the last ski season. | phil2003
