Can't see any problem with it myself. I agree with Igbert. Someone must have wanted the shares or there would have been a much bigger drop than 32.5p (2.5%).

Rzbrdbe,
In business outside of investing this behaviour would be described as anti-competitive price-fixing and subject to regulatory review.

Usually means that someone else wanted in, and the brokers approached existing holders to see who'd be willing to sell a few.

Miton, Henderson, and Diverse were the sellers. They sold 4.5m worth of shares between them and within 3-4 minutes of each other. How does that work? Thought they were meant to be independent. Can anyone enlighten me?

Will be interesting to see who they placed them with. A good price for such a large chunk. RNSs awaited!

Someone just dumped £4.5M of shares at 1240p. Big trade, perhaps it is The Diverse Income Trust Plc again. Probably related to FinnCap Reiteration of 1040p target today.

modest growth is called compound growth in my books. Happy to hold an expect further substantial rises this year

Fred,
ive noticed that when everyones positive and " topping up" , theres usually a pull back.
Selling at the top is a rare gift imho

Depends what you are looking for. They say themselves 'modest growth' for the next couple of years. My guess is not much will happen to the share price over that time, but at least they pay a dividend !

When you see evidence of larger holders reducing then perhaps the time is right to copy them. But I've not seen any yet !

Probably heresy, but at what level would people think of selling ? I'm rubbish at deciding when to sell and the valuation is starting to look a bit warmish....

I'll only complain about salaries if they don't do the job !

So, the peer group to benchmark our CEO's salary is Treeshake's mate: £300k and VRS's CEO: £97k, which gives an average of a shade under £200k. It ain't so bad then.

(I think this is the methodology that pay consultants use to work these things out: the key is to always come up with a higher figure)

Well I would say congratulations to the CEO and the team for doing such a fantastic job. Just look at the 6 month segments kindly completed by StrollingMolby below the charts - those are the only numbers we need to focus on. Long may it continue.

Could you list any other publicly quoted CEOs earning less than this?

What's all this about salary - remember who you are guys - shareholders - yes shareholders the scurge of the public. Not happy with the salary sell the shares and shut up !

As the key staff who are the reason for success in company probably earn peanuts. There are only 13 people in company.it is probably hard for ceo to tell staff they must keep salary low, when he is getting such a large increase in his salary.
