Big fall yesterday there, also, for no reason apart from around 27k shares sold.

Bouncing back today there too.

what happened is that a person bought 35.8k at 17p. This meant the market maker that sold those shares had to get more stock quickly.... so he submitted a buy order 17p (as there wasnt enough 17p sell orders on the sell side)... hence both the buy and sell price being the same.

During the auction call period an indicative auction match price is displayed if the price of the buy and sell orders are crossed (the buy price is higher or equal to the sell price), or market orders are able to execute against orders on the other side of the book.

The events of the last two days remind me very much of RTD in which I also had a sizeable shareholding. They were in takeover talks when, shortly before their completion, the share price plunged. Many sold out, either through stoplosses being triggered or in the fear that the talks were off. It turned out to be some clever manipulation by a market player who was able to buy more shares on the cheap. The takeover went ahead shortly after. Let's hope the same will happen here!
