The Company confirms that it has received notice today that Bedell Trustees Limited, as trustee for the Billington Holdings Plc Employee Share Ownership Trust has disposed of the following shares:

   --      On 9 September 10,000  Ordinary Shares at a price of GBP2.80; 
   --      On 12  September 40,000  Ordinary Shares at a price of GBP2.67; and 
   --      On 14 September 130,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of GBP2.70. 

Accordingly Bedell Trustees Limited, as trustee for the Billington Holdings Plc Employee Share Ownership Trust, now holds 450,491 Ordinary Shares which represents 3.48 % of the issued share capital.
