23/10/2015 16:08 | This is both boring (storage) and yet a growth stock. A rare combination. Long may it continue | undervaluedassets
08/4/2015 10:02 | Being a big yellow blot on the landscape is part of the branding... And a very succesful part of it too. | undervaluedassets
02/4/2015 07:41 | We have one of BYG's new outlets being built near us, on the way into Aldershot. Not at all relevant to the share price, but why is it a horrendous bright orange rather than yellow? Its generally quite difficult to work out how to make Aldershot look more horrific but this certainly achieves that. | shanklin
02/2/2015 15:30 | I hold this as storage don't go out of fashion. Great brand and very conservative management | undervaluedassets

19/11/2014 10:17 | About time people woke up to this company. They have been steadily climbing back towards pre-crash highs (705p). They may have been over-valued back then but that has now changed I think. Very optimistic for the next few years. I wouldn't be surprised to see that old price taken out over the next few months. | irenekent
19/8/2014 09:51 | Refinancing today the kind of news that gets no attention. But very good news. Savings on interest on the re-arranged debt will amount to many millions and go straight to bottom line for years to come. | undervaluedassets

20/5/2014 08:24 | nice results - steady as she goes - its a well run company and a great brand. Should have nice recession proof characteristics too (should we go back there) - Storage don't go out of fashion. | undervaluedassets
24/10/2013 08:55 | Without any research do we know what caused this companies drop from £7 ? looks like they are heading back there soon | jimboy11
28/1/2013 13:14 | The huge quarterly reduction in profit is down to a misjudgement by the Directors. My opinion is they were too quick to offer to carry 50% of the VAT. If you have 1 customer complain, he is only a complaining customer while he is there, offer to pay 50% of the VAT then you carry that cost forever....profit is hard enough earned without giving away 10%. | qfh
14/1/2013 19:34 | Does anybody understand all theses figures BYG reports? and if so can you explain to a simpleton if they are doing well or not :) | el chupacabra

29/8/2012 16:39 | Looking to buy at 250p or so, if I get the chance. Wating for the next choppy period in the markets when fear returns as it surely will at some point. | topvest
29/8/2012 16:33 | Bought some at 300p today, want 360p ono for them later | jon827
08/8/2012 08:44 | Anyone still holding theses ? | jon827
22/5/2012 07:44 | Good set of y/e accounts announced today. This is a new investment for me but I am very comfortable with what I have seen to date. | blondviking
27/4/2012 12:03 | To me, the refinancing seems like a reasonable deal for Big Y. Borrowing 100m for 15 years at 4.9% might look like an inspired move in a couple of years time, and it also puts them in a stronger posiition when it comes to re-negotiating the remainder of the outstanding debt. (its not a bad deal for AVIVA also, getting 4.9% versus 2.5% on gilts - with a LTV ratio of less than 50% too) cheers | llef
