Tax issue closer to being adopted, some expecting a surge of business once it's confirmed and people know where they stand.http://www.forbes.com/sites/ralphjennings/2015/04/05/trillion-dollar-goldmine-for-philippine-economy-emerging-from-murky-pit/

I'm thinking same Fib, sounds like their aim is getting their cash burn even lower - but that's likely as they see a long road ahead.Might put a few quid back in when I can, but won't be doing much....

is it a buy at this level though? i mean its now trading below cash...
ok you have to take into account cash burn of c. 350k per 6months, but even with that in mind the market is just assigning no value whatsoever to the assets.

maybe worth a small punt at this level, although very illiquid so need to factor that in too.

Most folks got it wrong because they did not look at the basics

Commodity stocks were NOT the way to go from circa nearly 5 years back

China weakness means they could stay lower for some years yet ... coming $USD strength ain't going to help much either if and when rates go up there as sooner or later they must

this is also true, even more reason to fire the current management and get some people on board who know how to operate in a bad market, because the current BOD and Management couldn't even get things done in the boom times.

True. But it's not fantastic grade either, so going to need to higher prices to work alongside other factors.

That is part of the problem, but not the root cause. The project should be viable, there is a failure of oversight and project management that has led to avoidable delays and unnecessary expenses - and in my opinion they have been not correctly managed the EPCs in order to align the various project stages with market expectations and local regulations.

Priced during a mining boom as well....

The reason for the low share price is that the company was originally valued by crooks then badly managed from one missed deadline to the next.

It can go higher too. The reason for the share price is the hiatus in talks caused by the tax uncertainty but today's RNS shows over 2m cash as of Dec and cutting costs further, they've got time.

Can't see anything Currypasty, no news, numbers soon though and some comment from management presumably. Small trades affecting sp, today's vol is small in the scheme of things, but the assets are still there, value must be multi times current share price even with the tax proposals undiluted. Cash we'll know about soon.

Presidents Office wants mining tax settled by June, Congress slowing it down, nothing new happening meanwhile pending outcome.

They're still trying to get the right blend of taxation, corporation tax proposals and mining tax still being debated:-

Anything in that order Paleje makes BZT extremely cheap then and as I commented earlier way oversold then.
