07/8/2015 10:16 | JSWJSW, It is not possible to buy GDR's in London and sell them in Dhaka at the full local rate since the Bangladeshi Finance Ministry and SEC will not allow this. That said, it is very strange that the management will not buy in the GDR's. When I saw the management at Daniel Stewart's offices about ten months ago I covered the possibility of this buy in and the management told me that such a development would not happen soon. However, I had the distinct sense that it would eventually happen. Simon Cawkwell | simon cawkwell
05/8/2015 14:24 | Cawkwell is right, fundamentally: we are at something like a 70% discount to the Dharka quoted shares. But this does not suddenly guarantee a GDR rerating when the discount has been there for years. IF you are able to convert to the Dharka shares & subsequently sell them there, then fine, but how many PIs can actually do this? It was the same with the assets of Asian Citrus, which remained at a similar discounted level for over ten years. | jswjsw
31/7/2015 08:44 | from iii: I have checked the status of this dividend and can confirm that the payment date was 29 July 2015. As yet, we have not received this payment from the registrar. The payment date does not always reflect the date we receive the funds. Our dividends team are aware this payment is outstanding and will allocate to all eligible accounts upon receipt of the cash payment. I have no idea where they get 29th from | shano2

20/7/2015 15:13 | Youinvest has allocated the scrip dividend OK, but the cash component has not arrived. The message says a "pay date" of 26 June, for which they seem to have calculated a monetary value of "USD 0.009125". | blobby
16/7/2015 08:24 | Thanks for that. The difference may be due to deduction of taxes by bxp, it will be interesting to find out what youinvest says. No sign of my divi yet - I'm with interative invester. | shano2
14/7/2015 10:09 | Would anyone who receives their cash dividend please leave a brief message noting their brokers. Manty thanks | shano2
24/6/2015 14:10 | I would have thought that something as important as FDA approval would have had a much bigger effect on the price. John | 2350220
24/6/2015 12:10 | Well I'm still in here. The RNS shows it to be a good company; my only concern is Bangladesh politics. | bobdouthwaite |
