Just wondering how come Lanstead haven't announced a further reduction in their holding? Surely they have been selling big time?
Good morning!

I and I suspect many others including the 30% of the shares now owned by Swedish investors believe that the authorities will deliver the licenses otherwise a big political problem will erupt in Sweden. Foreign investors will be put off investing so there is a great deal of pressure now on the government to deliver.

Kitchen sink stuff has been used in the draft accounts and no capital will be spent on several of the other ideas the old management had. This pleases me and I am sure other investors.

Now the long term wait for the 4/5 year development of the mine and infrastructure so the share price could go up on any announcement that looks like a bonus for the company.

A range of 5-8p for me.................

LOGLORRY1..........most of us on the BB have been shareholders for a long time and it would take us a long time to give you a history lesson.

However, do you understand what BEM has in terms of iron ore?
Do you know who the new management is?
Do you understand how mining ventures are financed?
Have you looked to see who Landstead are and what they did to BEM?

Once you have told us you do we might open up but until then I wont unless you go back one full year and read all the posts on this BB as that will also help you to understand just what is going on.

AND please read everything on the companys website................

@superslob maybe but looking at valuation here after the big run up it isn't obvious to me that this news isn't already priced in.

In fact you write "when will the Swedish Govt" suggesting it will 100% happen. In which case the market will have factored that in as given anyway. If not then there is a chance it could be rejected in which case buying before the news carries risk.

Even if they give approval won't they need to raise a lot of money to develop the project or else farm down to a larger company. If the latter then that might be tricky in the current Iron Ore price environment.

loglorry1, you've asked a lot of Qs that may be important to you, but are of little concern to us long-termers.

The main Q you should be asking yourself that would materially affect your buy-in price is when will the Swedish Govt finally give us the go-ahead (it's touched on in RNS of 20th). If soon, you'll be paying much more IMHO. Conversely, another delay and the reverse is true.

Unfortunately, nobody here can answer that very important Q!

@solomon - not at all but since their is no cash flow from operations the only way to raise cash is via the market. Knowing how much cash is left tells me how likely they'll tap the market. If they do so it will likely be at lower prices and so I want to know that before buying any.

Landstead still have 6% or 25m shares to get rid of and they are sitting on a big paper profit so no wonder they are selling down at these levels.

They also raised 650K in July at 1.25p issuing 52 million shrs again a big paper profit at these levels for anyone wanting to flip.

With average daily volumes of 2m/day I suspect that could drag the share price significantly.

Current assets are £223K vs £203K current liabilities at end of June so basically they have only the £650K raised in July minus what they've spent since.

Does anyone know the burn rate?
