13/7/2007 11:56 | Hands up who would be in profit @ 15p.Not many I suspect. | lyndus
13/7/2007 11:45 | I'm hearing 9-10p on the table.......still reckon hold on....this is clearly a manipulated share price and should be at 9-10p without the takeover...I also hear(rumour) that it could be a management buy-out | taffee
13/7/2007 11:22 | someone's trying to steal the company imo.....outrageous.. | taffee
13/7/2007 11:18 | IMO more than a measly 7p thats for sure and perhaps significantly higher if the RNS uncovers more than one buyer as may well happen. IMO BED technology is coming into its own at a time when microprocessor manufacturers break new ground in their attempts to squeeze ever more transistors onto a chip. Whoever buys them is making an astute and very timely purchase imo. | camy
13/7/2007 10:59 | I reckon you'll be looking around the 10-12p mark for any takeover. | keebsy
13/7/2007 10:46 | am interested but I can't really see the bid being much higher that 7p given historic price stability around this level. Well done to all those who bought below, however, limited upside for new buyers from here IMO given price spread and liquidity. Offers are normally at premiums of 50 - 75% of the price on day before announcement and the price is already up 50%. Any views to the contrary? | dusseldorf
13/7/2007 10:30 | What a nice suprise | hastings
13/7/2007 10:20 | Price was probably also forced down to make any offer above 10p "appear" really attractive. | camy
13/7/2007 10:18 | Well, barclays won't let you have them even at 7.5p :( | wikroberts
13/7/2007 10:17 | Offer price was supposed to be in region of 15pence | dickiepugs
13/7/2007 10:16 | Hope it works out for you Guys. Well done. | knowing
13/7/2007 10:16 | Also explains why the new man was brought in ! | dickiepugs
13/7/2007 10:15 | So what are they worth ? | colonel a
13/7/2007 10:14 | RNS: offer for BED. So that explains why price was forced down: to squeeze out weak holders. | camy
13/7/2007 10:14 | Bede Stmnt re Share Price Movement RNS Number:2072A Bede PLC 13 July 2007 13 July 2007 Bede plc ("Bede" or the "Company") Statement regarding movement in share price The Board of Bede notes the movement in the Company's share price and confirms that it is in preliminary discussions with certain parties which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the Company. A further announcement will be made in due course. | johnyee7
13/7/2007 09:59 | Take a look at PLEI today as well. | run rabbit
13/7/2007 09:56 | In my opinion the results in May were upbeat. 15/05/2007 09:35 TFNF Bede Q1 pretax loss narrows to 1.14 mln stg; order book nearly doubles BED should therefore have been going up before how imo. However as it is has relatively small market cap and is thinly traded then market makers appear to do as they please with the price with little or no effect. No doubt they will continue to do so however if you had some faith you would have used the lower share price to top up. | camy |
