The dividend thing seems to be dragging on abit... initially around the end of September (ie within 60 days of 3rd August 2007 when the statement was released Post 1472). Thereafter, we had a note here saying that it would be paid following the return of the FD from Australia around 3rd week of October (Post 1504)and now this!

I hope this is not another elaborate sham by the Master deliverer of good news himself to shaft shareholders a bit more!

I got shafted myself a few times ... severely by a company, ironically, called Just!

Action group set up ... think it may still be going on years later ... nobody wins ... apart from lawyers .. it is sad - but I have found that you are better to write it off - try and learn from it and move on.

Hi Mikey

It seems, it is legal and that is why unscrupulous directors get away with it. Moreover, it seems to happen often. I have read about similar cases. Small shareholders are screwed and because we are small the regulators don't care or appear not to.

A pressure group would be a way forward (through your MPs) to present a case to Government for legislation to close any loopholes and put a stop to this hanky panky.

Unfortunately I am not British (Maltese) and am unable to help. However if anyone gets moving on it, they have my moral support.

Thanks aporterman - information update much appreciated. Thought BRTR were going to use the website as an improved dissemination point for updates and such info for investors - not really happening it would seem.

Has anyone got their dividend yet?

The 60-day period should be almost up by now since the announcement was made.

I would be very surprises if any legal action was taken against the NOMAD.

But on the point of any potential payout from sales, is this happening, if so wha timescales etc?

From the Bartercard website: 22/8/07

Bartercard wins "Business Tool of the Year
Bartercard, the worlds leading, and largest, trade exchange, has been awarded "Business Tool of the Year" by one of the principal business publications, Business Britain magazine. This is a national, bi-monthly publication targeted at decision makers in business and it covers topics which are relevant to its readership, including areas that will assist in the future development of business.

Calamity,

Thought you'd be over stoking the NSB loco.....

We may be mad, but we do still have shares in BRTR. If you had shares less than 1000 (consolodation was 1000 to 1) then you got a cheque for the number of shares x 4.5p courtesy of Wayne Sharpe..

If however you held more than 1000 shares you received a new BRTR share for every 1000 held (and 'lost' those that were not multiples of 1000). So for example holding 51,129 shares you'd hav got 51 new shares, 112999 shares you'd have got 112 new shares....

Also, it wasnt actually an MBO, just a share cosolidation and a delisting from AIM. The result is that we do still own BRTR shares, but they are not listed - so we are entitled to any dividend paid, just not able to (with ease) sell or buy.

hope this helps,

DL
