Publication of a supplementary prospectus
Baronsmead Second Venture Trust plc (the "Company") and Baronsmead Venture Trust ("BVT" and together the "Companies") have today published a Supplementary Prospectus approved by the UK Listing Authority. It is a regulatory requirement to publish a supplementary prospectus following the publication of the audited annual report and financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2017.
The Supplementary Prospectus is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, the Prospectus published by the Company on 4 October 2017 (the "Prospectus") in relation to an offer for subscription to raise up to GBP24 million (the "Offer").
The Company has raised gross proceeds of over GBP21 million pursuant to the Offer and there remains approximately GBP3 million of New Shares available for allotment. As announced on 24 November 2017 the final allotment of New Shares pursuant to the Offer is expected to take place on or around 20 December 2017 or earlier if the Offer becomes fully subscribed.
The supplementary prospectus will shortly be available for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk.NSM and at the Company's website at www.baronsmeadvcts.co.uk.
