Publication of Supplementary Prospectus

Baronsmead Second Venture Trust plc (the "Company") has today published a supplementary prospectus approved by the UK Listing Authority. The publication of the supplementary prospectus is a regulatory requirement under the Prospectus Rules following the publication of the Company's report and financial statements for the nine months to 30 September 2016.

The supplementary prospectus is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, the prospectus published by the Company on 17 October 2016 relating to the issue of up to 50 million new ordinary shares in connection with the recommended proposals for the merger with Baronsmead VCT 5 plc.

The supplementary prospectus will shortly be available for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.
