Now its the year end trading statement next month is the only hope..if good then 260p possible after such a bad few months...

Well we'll know the stress test results in December (from what l read) so maybe that will be it.

its in a down trend at the moment and will need to break convincingly over 250 to show a change in trend as well as show a double bottom support at near 228 imo. The increase in interest rates might be the catalyst or some other good news.

Whilst I don't believe in charting I think the sentiment on this particular share is changing now. The share will be back in favour before Xmas and 250 will be support. Any chartists on here?

Holding up well today considering DOW down over 100.Appears sector rotation into banks is happening in expectation of December rate hike. If that happens only short term winners will be banks with increased profit margins.

Barclays bank unveils Agribusiness unit


Barclays bank of Kenya has established an agribusiness unit that will exclusively address matters farming.

Diku - If you look at the table in the header, you will see that all banks are lower than they were on 1 January.

The best is LLOY then BARC and then the rest are all in double figure percentages.

For what my opinion's worth, BARC seem to be holding up very well.

moneysage....yes last few days has been very strange weak price action....not sure if there is something afloat and some in the know know it or its a chartist stand off going on....as Barc is back to Jan 2015 lows and the risk of a break to the downside is putting buyers off....

DIKU,I agree. Share price behaving in a strange way today.Eg: at 1:30pm (ish) all banks rallied quite sharply. However Barclays rally kicked in an HOUR later!Don't really understand why the delay when whole sectors jumped at 1:30pmStrange indeed.Can anyone shed any light on this?
