29/10/2015 14:07 | what a dire statement. cant really see much good apart from no increase in ppi provisions. massive restructuring costs and fx costs. we knew about fx but the restructuring costs seem new to me. i agree uninvestable as corporate coms so poor and technically looks weak so closed bet. the british political establishment are pathetic and have made the banks so afraid of their own shadows they will soon be bit players on the world stage. hsbc already calling in the removal guys. advise guys to take a look at us banks particularly bac which has just broking 200ma and good entry at 16.30 | ards

29/10/2015 09:46 | Was the result that bad? The tangible NAV was up by 10 p in the quarter to 289 and the NAV was up to 337 p, much better than Lloy, which has an nav of 55 p but has a price of over 70 p. | ceaserxzy
29/10/2015 09:44 | Ken - I agree - I don't think they were that bad either - it was the same with Lloyds yesterday - not great but don't deserve such a drop..... guess that is the market we live in these days.....also think there is general malaise in shares at the moment, due to on going negative news, china, germany etc etc... I always buy new barclay's shares with divi payment - so try and look at the positive view that I'll get more shares for my divi and hope in the long run they will come good....fingers crossed :-) | keifer derrin
