12/8/2011 07:37 | Nice results. Share price hasn't bounced yet, maybe today the market will wake up. | sander4709
10/8/2011 10:28 | Board's a bit quiet. Considering a wee top-up here. At 290p the recent drops look rather overdone to me. | sander4709

07/4/2011 12:46 | 07/04/2011: BANKERS PETROLEUM ACHIEVES RECORD PRODUCTION IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2011 'Current production is 13,550 bopd. Gross sales achieved record levels for March, averaging 15,247 bopd.' | billy_buffin
18/3/2011 22:12 | Topped up a tad this last week. At these prices it would be rude not to! | sander4709
10/3/2011 02:47 | Mr market not impressed! | sander4709
09/3/2011 17:41 | Listened to Webcast - Confirmed on for 20,000bd by the end of the year Th game here is about increasing reserves, recovery rates not exploration, as such this is a very conseervative AIM stock. Reserves increase OK they are happy but would have gone for more however these are auditors (RPS) figures and cautious. | gopher
25/1/2011 19:33 | Sorry have answered my own question. its AIM yes. Hmmmm. | steveofsw19
25/1/2011 19:31 | Can anyone explain why this company is not in the latest FTSE 250 list as per wikipedia updated 20th December. The mkt cap seems big enough | steveofsw19
24/1/2011 10:42 | I noticed there was director selling, is this significant for prospects | gopher
24/1/2011 07:52 | On that one particular measure then I guess it does. But ... - BNK are targetting 2011 exit production of 20k bopd, rising to 32k in 2012 - BNK's last audited 2P reserves were 214 mmbbls from one field v Dana's 2P of 223 mmbbls from 36 fields scattered around the world. - Updated reserves report due in March 2011 should show significantly increased 2P reserves - BNK had another 208 mmbbls of 3P at the last report (plus 384mm prospective and 838 contingent) On these other metrics it could be argued that BNK is cheap by comparison. | johnwall
23/1/2011 20:02 | if Dana was taken out for 1.7bn producing 38,000 bopd then doesn't 1.3bn valuation here seem a bit much when producing just 12k bopd? S. | steveofsw19
07/1/2011 17:37 | Switched in here today from JKX on a GS reearch note and pleased to see there are not 1000 posts and a nice rise today. "As a result of the M&A potential, the potential for reserves growth and the undemanding valuation, we initiate coverage of Bankers Petroleum as a Buy with a 12 month price target of 671p." | gopher
07/1/2011 15:54 | Indeed - 60p in two days. BNK is the subject of a research note by Al Stanton at RBC (per manz & DJP on Stockopedia) and would appear to be attracting interest. Broker Note from RBC (Al Stanton) - Unleashing the Tortoise. Development-led play offers steady production and value growth in 2011; upgrading to Outperform, Above Average Risk, with a $10 Target Price An oil price play: In addition, we would note that Bankers is the most leveraged oil price play in our universe - a $15/bbl swing in the long-term oil price outlook would change our NAV by ~29%. | strollingmolby
07/1/2011 02:46 | This is heady stuff! | sander4709

21/12/2010 23:32 | Looks like we've finally broken out of the pennant formation to the upside - only took 7/8 months! Famous last words... | strollingmolby
10/12/2010 17:35 | According to Napaz on Stockhouse - UBS raises Bankers Petroleum Ltd price target to C$10 from C$8.5 .. TD did the same few days ago.. all after the flooding.... | johnwall
09/12/2010 07:07 | Thanks for that SM, a good reminder that it should be a good investment. At present I do not hold but expect to be back sometime. No suggestion in the article of an early take over as has been mentioned previously. | hawks11
25/10/2010 07:21 | Thanks SM. I think I will ask them what hapens if I only hold an ISA with them and no other account to avoid alerting their systems. I concentrate on using the ISA to save complications with money matters and avoid having to consult with Taxation Consultants. I may just move broker, possibly TD Waterhouse. Definately not Barclays, they seem to cause too many problems for their clients from what I read. Hawks | hawks11 |
