another interesting coin that I've found but its been around for years is bitshares. they are looking to take one the shares and derivative markets. they have several trading markets already setup

bitgold - gold futures
bitusd - usd futures

ethereum is a programmable token (coin). so it can be used for electronic contracts (smart) etc anywhere you want a transfer with conditions or an agreement.

there a house of startups looking to create ecosystems based on the ethereum.

etherium - that's why Microsoft and a number of others on board. complete scam. it is too expensive but that's crypto.

Bitcoin XT was an attempted fork seeking to scale bitcoin as is Bitcoin Classic neither are alt coins. Etherium is a scam orchestrated by sophists, dupes in this manipulation are retail investors with little to no technical understanding of what they are investing in.

bitcoin xt is something else... I new coin maybe? not sure.

larger block size means more centralisation (more memory/disk/cpu requirements for the miners)and for the hard core that's not good.

must admit there as many pennants as there is exchanges... they all have different ones.

btc is suffering due to its success - it can't handle the number of transactions. they have a solution (to be implemented). hence the slow price action.

I've been hanging around alt-coin land and having a larf.

the market it is explosive at the moment. 100% gains abound.

seems that the coins with some sort of utility have done the best. Ehterium has done about 900% since nov. taking a slice out of btc's market.

maidsafecoin is another mover.
