26/11/2015 14:47 | The 5 November auction ( which I didn't know about until reading above ) seems very odd. One would expect this to lower the price when it was announced and perhaps afterwards but the opposite happened. Of course it could be that the knowledge of the possible sale of the 44,000 btc was overhanging the market and then there was relief when it was out in the open? The closeness seems too much of a coincidence to me. | alexx
26/11/2015 11:52 | previous raise was on the eu ruling that bitcoin was a currency... at least that is what I thought. spad will know... | mcbeanburger
26/11/2015 11:42 | November the 5th, they declared weeks before was their sale date. The price rose to about then and then dropped off soon after the sale. Coincidence I guess but it was noteworthy I thought. | chinahere
26/11/2015 11:30 | same time as what? | mcbeanburger
26/11/2015 11:22 | Old news yes, I was just wondering why the price spike was at the same time. | chinahere
26/11/2015 11:16 | it does look like a run has started.... | mcbeanburger
26/11/2015 11:16 | from your article.... "The US Marshals Service (USMS) has announced it will sell 44,341 BTC (worth approximately $10.6m at press time) in an online auction due to take place on 5th November" old news me old china. | mcbeanburger
26/11/2015 10:09 | Anyone else notice that the recent price spike happened almost exactly at the same time as the recent US government sale of Bitcoin? hxxp://www.coindesk. Has anyone the means to manipulate the price or was it just coincidence? Gold-bugs claim that the existence of 'paper gold' means there's a way to manipulate the price. 'Paper Bitcoin' could be the next piece of financial engineering. lol. | chinahere
26/11/2015 08:17 | 4hr chart back again.... is this a start of a move? | mcbeanburger

07/11/2015 11:22 | Im baffled why tpaulbeaumont is still baffled after all this time. | spadman
06/11/2015 12:24 | I guess the bitcoin crowd like round numbers. whoda guess that? | mcbeanburger
05/11/2015 13:21 | im still baffled theres such price discrepancies between exchanges, wheres most of the volume thesedays SPUD? bitstamp was the hub but i fail to see how they had the price at $480+ for 5 hours and most other venues didnt have it higher than $460 all day? | tpaulbeaumont
04/11/2015 16:28 | hard to see where this is going 500 isn't a significant price point from what I see, so i'd have to say higher (not putting money on it). we'll see. | mcbeanburger
04/11/2015 16:19 | breakout from? don't really see anything... maybe a trumpet formation from oct last year (that's pushing it). it has been trading neutral from apirl/may. well done to those that bought. | mcbeanburger |
