A reminder :- The Attorney General stated this not some Jack the lad, a key person in the Bahamas. To me what he said is very clear, they have already commissioned and have an agreement with a major oil company, he cannot say who but he knows who.

Someone said the agreement could be with Macquarie, he states a major oil company, therefore this should be in my opinion confirmed either that or Bethel is not correct, and can you believe that, I know whose money mine is on.

However, Bethel said he is confident that this time the company will drill.

“I have been made aware that they have already commissioned and have an agreement with a major oil company,” Bethel said.

“I cannot say who, but I know who.

“I have every confidence that they will drill…”

DYOR, IMHO.

DynamoHum - with due respect, Theresa May could have said 'a hundred times' (hope some one counted!) or a million times, but pre-election (the one with the Tory manifesto about commitment to hold a referendum) May was a bit cool about the issue. When the Referendum results was out, it divided the Tories into two camps (Brexiters and Remainers) but here again May sat on the fence. It is only after Dave Cam went that she decided to go into the leadership contest firmly attaching herself to the Brexit Cause. It is a matter of opinion whether she actually supported the cause (of Brexit) or just wanted the Job (of PM). Let us hope (an pray) that Potter and Sanders (over in UKOG) are slightly more committed then May is/was to the well-being and profitability of their respective companies and shareholders and not just their own wallets.

Thing is Potters like Theresa May in some respects , she has said over a hundred times that we will be leaving on the 29th March . . . . What else could she say . . . .that was the goal . . . .

Potter has been saying for 9 years we continue to talk and engage with interested parties to enable an exploration well to be drilled. . . That's his goal . . . .
In both cases it hasn't happened , but what else do you expect them to say until as in Mays case the time has nearly run out , in Potters case the clock is 2 minutes to midnight

I hope we leave the EU and I hope a well or wells are drilled by BPC . . . .

Just can't deal with Muppetspeak . . . . . . but it's quite amusing I do confess . .

Interested parties .... such a vague expression really when you think about, very much open to interpretation.are these the same "interested parties" that have "interested" for the last 6 or 7 years ? you never know they might sign a few more meaningless NDAs ... haven't heard that one in a while

Jack . . An interested party wanted to do due diligence conditional on exclusivity, they paid $ 1million for the privaledge of a confidential audit of the business proposition. . . . . . After close inspection and taking everything into account they declined to pursue any further course of action , why they did that only they and possibly BPC know. . . . . .
One can only surmise something or things they saw were not to their liking . . . .

That's it nothing more , nothing less . .

DynamoHum - IF there WAS a 'major oil company' who paid in that US$1m (in 4 instalments of $250k) for exclusivity, THEN, once that arrangement was terminated and that so called 'major' walked away, the party would have been named by mutual agreement. WHY was the 'major' not named, OR was there a 'major' at all? AIM oil exploration companies get up to all sorts of tricks to con innocent punters of their hard-earned cash.

The response has been encouraging, the next 12 months will ensure we do everything to be fully booked and therapy results will be available for individuals who have undergone treatment, we aim to save thousands of pounds on behalf of our inmates. . . .

I'm launching a new venture to help Mug Punters who require rehab for bulletin boarditus, this syndrome is well known , and is believed to have started with a dream of untold riches ( all relative of course) followed by myopic delusions that lead to a belief others opinions and the facts are always wrong . . . . .

Treatment and upsetting scenes during the cold turkey phase will remain confidential. .

They have no deal. . . Fact
They have no partners . . . Fact
They are working to get one . . . I assume a fact . . .

Logically they are trying by any means to get a deal. . . . By talking to parties who may have an interest. . . .

Sounds very familiar dousnt it . . . . .

So if you've got no partners , how can they walk away . . .

dynamohum
28/3/2019

Partners have had plenty of time to walk away, so logically one has to ask why are they still working with BPC. If you ask that question the answer is not too hard to find.

In 2010/11 bpc rose to about GBP 170m Market cap in anticipation of a deal that didn't materialise. With dilution since then that would equate to about 10p share price today. Can there be a repeat of the rise in anticipation of a new deal? Very possible and this time imo a conclusion should happen.

Morning Gismo. I would think the sooner the farmout the more time to prepare for a drill. Any partner will want maximum time to prepare. Farmout decision must be close as any partner / partners would know if they wanted to drill the prospect. It's all about the commercial terms and percentages which Simon Potter won't want to compromise too much on if there are 3 or 4 interested parties, but also Potter won't want to let any of them off the hook. The fact the bait on the hook is now irresistible with the licences extended and applied rights to production for 30 years, this does improve the deal for BPC.
