Martyn9, pleased to see someone else uses Redmayne as I do to. Seem to have hit a wall this morning.

Unless they have another stock to invest in, sellers will have cash burning a hole in their pocket and as the dips are bought the stock goes back up and they will feel they need to buy back. Human nature, especially when seeing this went to 6-8p on the anticipated farmout last time, which we now know the expiring of the licence was an issue, which has now been sorted specifically for a farmout to now be completed.

Why does a view have to be so binary on these boards?? I've been here on this share for 10years - I think one day BPC will get there. I have both positive and negative views on the share - if it's being pumped or overpriced I will say so - if there is good news or its underpriced I will post accordingly. Is that not sensible ?

I don't think those sellers particularly care about the prospects of BPC Whoppy- they make a profitable trade where they can and move on- they are not investors interested in leaving cash in a risky company for the long haul. 70-80% profit it a good result- well played on low liquidity

Sellers will have to buy back, imo.

Can buy 1m on IG comfortably -Selling is a little harder.I would suggest after seeing paid reports from the likes of Malcom G wood that a seller is trying to exit position not accumulating. you don't put paid reports out for mug PIs to buy when you want to add to a position but rather someone to take your shares off you

Still a low share price Simon Potter quoting a 'Clear line of sight' and 'top notch' partners means that a farmout is almost done.

Nice report in the Tribune and Nassau G though. at least they had the professionalism to base the article in fact and an additional interview with SPotter

Re: Malcy's blog - the big man looses even more credibility, if he had any remaining that is after blatantly pushing FRR et al Nowhere was it stated (company or otherwise) that it was a super major involved in last years exclusivity period- and as for the "super major" walking away and attempting to take the license that is complete supposition and he should know better than to push that line.Shameful

You know, this could be the next "Gateway Industries" 20,000% in one day. Given the correct news.

Hang on a minute... why are they tinkering with the well location again at this stage?

They changed the location previously so presumably they have a very interested party looking at well plans??

If only it were £1.60 as it says in the article!! That would be VERY nice but I would settle for 16p or even 10p or......... Going the right way.

If you are a super major and big fish i'm sure the people doing their due diligence would know the same sources in gov as bpc and would know that the licences extension would just be a formality.. but then would you try to take a chance anyway and make a low ball offer to perhaps try and force your hand.. only for it to backfire as it did.
Perhaps they were testing the management steel, however the ball is still in the court of BPC. We have the extension.. but is the data really that concrete.. only a drill would give us that information.. so how is that going to be done?
