27/1/2017 09:54 | Trump's Mexican trade policy may be weighing on the stock today. | wageslave
27/1/2017 09:20 | Hoping it will resist the temptation to go down through 70p. But if it does, then it could fall as far as 62p again quite soon. If it can rally now though, then 100p is the obvious target short/medium term. | blue sky territory
27/1/2017 08:43 | How low now? Any ideas? | the great unwashed
26/1/2017 16:07 | Don't feel bad about leaver lifestyler. I heard that he applied for permit to sell big issue. Big issue these days provide better lifestyle than paper mining, plus all this fresh air!.. | rwauu
26/1/2017 12:37 | Another lifestyler left the board. Good riddance. But wait, more useless money and time wasters might join pappy and mammy to life large by pushing clays and lithiums... | rwauu
24/1/2017 19:05 | Here's a few lovely sound bites. Looking at the consolidated statements: 2014 placement raised $8.6 million, the share issue cost was $2 million ;) The co reported $10m operating loss as of June 2016, This included $4m under General & Admin, plus $3m for stock-based compensation. Under Gen & Admin the $4m - management's fee was $1.8m, lawyers and accountants got $1.2m So against the $31.637 million raised in 2015 from equity financing, the company reported a loss attributable to shareholders of $10m, most of which $7m went to executive salaries, consulting fees, stock awards. More than 20% of that 2015 cash raise has within one year, already been pocketed. The board must thank you all for your (financial) support, they are greatly excited alongside all investors in spite of *unavoidable* 'operating losses' | citywired
24/1/2017 14:24 | 'Should have traded more' is controversial, this is really a buy and hold kind of stock. There are 'frictional costs' associated with constantly chasing the dragon on a stock, not to mention the toll on your health. Hang in there and there's no reason currently to feel less than modestly optimistic for BCN's future. | simonsaid1
21/1/2017 16:46 | Had entered here in the 80s and watched as the share price slipped on absolutely no news down into the 60s. As it went back up the breakdown of a Tesla offtake was enough for me to walk away with slim profit. At the last peak. Trend now looks like lower lows and lower highs. No detail was given why offtakes fell through, and operational delays mean one can afford to wait on the sidelines as other issues such as Brexit, overbought metal curve, and Trump offer food for thought. Easier going elsewhere for now. | citywired
20/1/2017 13:34 | Bacanora is going through the process of developing a world class asset, at what point the market values this correctly is anyone's guess. The time frame for this is reducing as they mover closer to plant design. They will need funding for this but it could come in many ways e.g. the funding detailed earlier. They may even get bough out beforehand whichever way it jumps it will be at multiples of the current share price | senttothegallows
20/1/2017 12:11 | The company is not yet profitable (since full mining operations have not yet begun), pays no dividend etc, so there is no intrinsic reason for the stock price to rise except for sentiment. This is mostly priced in already, and will only rise considerably if either sentiment toward lithium improves further, or the company announces a serious deal and/or starts producing profits. | simonsaid1
20/1/2017 12:01 | From my understanding Bacanora is a much simpler mining operation than EMH as the Lithium we have is at the surface like picking candy. If this is correct then why has the share price gone nowhere (as per above post), do they need more placing, what cash have they got left? | ny boy
20/1/2017 11:58 | Any reason why this has been going nowhere for the last 3 years? | ny boy
20/1/2017 09:15 | Piling into this again now me. | donald trumpton
18/1/2017 09:48 | Wonder what deal BCN will sort? Private Placement: Ganfeng has agreed to purchase, by way of a private placement, 75,000,000 common shares at a price of C$0.85 per common share for gross proceeds of C$64 million (US$49 million). Following the close of the Private Placement, Ganfeng will own approximately 19.9% of the Company's issued and outstanding shares; Project Debt Facility: Ganfeng and the Company have agreed to terms by which Ganfeng will provide to Lithium Americas a US$125 million Project Debt Facility to be used for the funding of Lithium Americas' share of Cauchari-Olaroz construction costs. The Project Debt Facility has a term of six years, with an interest rate of 8.0% for the first three years that increases to 8.5% in year four, 9.0% in year five and 9.5% in year six; Offtake Entitlement: Ganfeng and the Company have agreed to terms for an Offtake Entitlement in favour of Ganfeng for the purchase of up to 70% of Lithium Americas' share of Cauchari-Olaroz Stage 1 lithium carbonate production at market prices; | hutch_pod
13/1/2017 13:49 | I think after a +20% rerating, the only people to whom EMH is a good tip right now are those lucky enough to be in possession of a DeLorean with functioning flux capacitor. | simonsaid1
13/1/2017 13:38 | From my understanding Bacanora is a much simpler mining operation than EMH as the Lithium we have is at the surface like picking candy. With Tesla Giga factory now open they will be reducing the supply of Lithium from the market. In the grand scheme of things Litium looks like it will be in short supply. As this year runs on we should see a huge run for Bacanora | senttothegallows
13/1/2017 12:19 | I noticed the comment on BCN thread & bought some of them (EMH) before the pop yesterday. I also doubled up on BCN. Good times ahead. | hopperagain
12/1/2017 08:58 | There are a couple of interesting articles on EMH (see their board) which imply that they are very seriously undervalued compared to their peers. BCN also not overvalued - but not so cheap as EMH. Some of the American producers, Nebraska Lithium in particular, very seriously overvalued. It's interesting reading. It won't make you pull money out of BCN, but it might interest you in putting money into EMH. | bookwormrobert
12/1/2017 08:22 | Off topic perhaps but notable that EMH (as identified above)has leapt near 20% this morning.Like some of that for BCN. | steeplejack
10/1/2017 09:01 | And back down we go. Daily Mail buyers dried up? | simonsaid1 |
