i don't ignore bcn, far from it. I wish you guys well. used to be a big fan of bcn when they talked of 4x 40km strikelength and drilling megalit, then it all went so quiet.

Your not invested in bcn.

What emh does v bcn does not really matter to each respective shareholder and you may be right emh looks fine but you would be an utter fool to ignore Bacanora.

What I would also say is BCN hold an agreement with Tesla which might be significant, BCN is a very simple mining operation so regardless of how well emh does bcn will make telephone numbers in the next few years. Good luck

Norway (an oil exporter) to ban sale of petrol and diesel cars from 2025. Already a quarter of Norwegians are driving an electrical car now.

The Dutch are making similar noises:

And India also:

Let's see if Blackrock stick with BCN for longer than a couple of months.

REM/BCN investors have seen it before....II comes in with big fanfare to then steadily sell out when they get their 20%

"People felt for years that they were being legged over by AIM stocks ".......and indeed they were and are, in the main,as the likes of Quindell and Globo testify!I don't think AIM would be allowed to operate in the US.Countless papers have been written by US academics to market practitioners about AIMs unsatisfactory, inadequate regulation.Yet,there have been successes of course,Majestic and ASOS but I would be pushed to get past a handful off the top of my head.

True enough steeplejack. There's also the issue of crowd funding, which is increasingly the go-to way of investing in smaller companies. At some point I think that will come crashing down as there just isn't the same regulation and control that you get from listed stocks. People felt for years that they were being legged over by AIM stocks - maybe so, to some extent, but that's nothing compared with what can happen when the companies have far fewer rules to stick to!

Anyway, BCN starting to move on decent buying. I think it needs to clear 100p for a couple of days for it to really motor in the short term. Quite possible!

I think the dynamics of the market place have changed in recent years.Primarily, because broker proprietary books have all but closed down due to regulation. In the past, speculation from this quarter added a good deal of "fizz" to dealing in smaller stocks in particular. The upshot is that stocks like BCN will react to investor buying and selling and not to the speculation of prop books. So,stocks like BCN can languish nowadays. The ultimate rise in the share price might be more enduring and less speculative than in the past.Nonetheless,I'm very surprised that this stock isn't considerably higher.

Apologies - that didn't read how I meant it to. I meant that APART from the intelligent and insightful few who post on here regularly, there's little chance to make a difference with a well-reasoned bit of research on these boards. Once upon a time, there was. As a former research analyst (oil sector) and one of the founder users of ADVFN, I find it more than a little frustrating.

Strange how overlooked this stock is - I'm in for the long term but I'm expecting 180+ this year and more next. There are fundamental reasons for this but no-one on these boards cares any more so there's no point making the case. :-(
