Blackrock is a pedigree name when it comes to investing in smaller commodity companies. They'll be back for more stock in due course I suspect.

it's a considerable sum they've raised (£7m). Have the speedway 'Go' lights finally come on, to really go industrial on this? Maybe it's a defiant step also, in saying 'hey Tesla we can finance this ourselves (for the moment), and Asian customers are prepared to pay full whack for the lithium, in other words we are not reliant on Tesla (and its low-ball pricing).

Yes, this explains why the price has been somewhat immobile. It's been mananaged to enable this financing to get away.

Excellent news and I guess the brakes can be lifted now! Maybe 8 on the dot is a good time for another top-up.

Doubled up!

There's still a seller around and I suspect it's a remaining early stage investor - the 1p/share brigade who buy shares in new and unlisted companies and then sell out when there is a proper listing. Not because they don't like the company - just that they take their profits and recycle the cash into the next unlisted 1p shares.

Premium Chat Member Barksy... Great presentation, it just confirm once and for all BCN/REM are not interested in Tesla (KM was very explicit in that at the London investor show), not at least for 18 -24 months.

Sonora is all about the asian market, if Tesla want hydroxide they might just be required to stump up the additional capex funding.

Sid_fiddler69Today 11:55 wasn't it said that Hydroxide was in the laboratory stages so 18 months to perfect it, IF that's what we are going to do, and mean while BCN concentrate on what we know can be done and sold to right buyer.....

hi laserdisc - I haven't got too many either. I was sold on the idea at the time of listing as a lithium shortage looked a certainty. Management appeared to have what it takes as well, but I have heard a few doubts on that score of late - maybe because the share price has lagged so far behind every other lithium play in the world!

Thanks for the link andrbea.

Moving - and about time too!

Other lithium players have soared in recent times. I'm hoping BAC has just been overlooked for some reason.

It would be ironic if it was the TSX listing that drags the AIM share price to higher ground, given the accolades that were showered on the AIM market when the shares listed a year back. The AIM market has shown reluctance to drive the junior resource stocks higher this year,it's the TSX that has pushed junior miners up,golds in particular.Time will tell.
