Did the charts show a £10.14 close today? Better still where will it close tomorrow evening if the results are good?

Pyemckay - Many thanks for that, yes I was aware of those issues but thought the increasing eps would have somehow at least made some progress against the headwind. You have however confirmed pretty much my thoughts as to the cause.

they bought a helicopter maintenance company(think it was called avensis). They also took on debt, had a rights issue, also general worries about defense sector.

Its baffles me why Citi would rate them a sell, specially against this half year statement:

o 92% of revenue for full year 2015/16 in place as of 30 October 2015

o 60% of revenue for full year 2016/17 already under contract

o GBP20 billion order book, reflecting GBP2 billion intake during the period

-- Replenished GBP10.5 billion bid pipeline provides further opportunities for growth
o GBP2.5 billion of new opportunities added to the bid pipeline during the period

-- Continued pre-capital expenditure cash conversion of over 100%
o Post-capital expenditure conversion of around 70% as anticipated

Guess these analysts have to earn their keep somehow....

Profit taking due to the good recent run ahead of:

War decision tomorrow.
ECB QE decision later this week.
US payrolls later this week.

Perhaps?

BT.A & RR. also seem to be under similar pressure today.

Hi all!
I think Cognosec AB is the next big opportunity. Consider the company is ALREADY PROFITABLE AND GLOBAL PARTNERS tapping into fast-growing country like Africa, Middle East. Global reach and first class services and technologies that would make COGNOSEC AB growing very fast.

First Milestone: LISTING ON NASDAQ FIRST NORTH.

Take part in this unique opportunity and subscribe to the new COGNOSEC AB shares. Subscriptions close this Friday 27th November:

I have briefly read through them. On first glance they look good. Meggitt and Rolls-Royce have lost me quite a bit over the last 12 months so I have become more sceptical of results. There didn't seem to be any mention of business affected by oil & gas fall-out? I just wonder whether the contracts specific to this part of the business, in the main, have not yet come-up for renewal. Do you think the impact could be a little further down the line? Perhaps the renewed tensions in Syria will eventually compensate for this risk.
