12/6/2007 20:42 | Acting on February's dire update does not constitute insider dealing. No-one should have been long after it was published, end of story. | handycam
11/6/2007 10:34 | Well that told the story didn't it. You can tell by the lack of down movement today that the market or some of the market knew about this before it was announced. It could even turn out that this will be the low and could be time to buy. What do the FSA and the LSE do as far as regulation is concerned. Malpractice and insider dealing is happening all the time and I'm fed up with being on the wrong end of it. CCNP- Malpractise in this place probably means incompetence. I wonder how long ago the company knew about this? | prokartace
11/6/2007 08:42 | Naughty. I wonder what does the term 'malpractise' in such circumastances mean ? Deliberate or mistaken. Presumably the latter since no 'resignations' are announced. But sounds like much needed goods news in terms of ROA for the future. | ccnp
08/6/2007 08:40 | That chart is really something special. Due to percentages I have seen charts accellerate on the upside but AVE must be the 1st I've had the displeasure to see on the downside! | prokartace

01/3/2007 08:29 | Boy are these guys lucky or what. they tank fractionally ahead of the market and then survive that normalisation. They should be 65p. A charmed existence. Surely this proves the value of Brand. It's dazzling the small punter | ccnp
27/2/2007 18:19 | but they doo stay loyal. but if they get real one day and stop then its doo doo for these boys | ccnp
27/2/2007 18:15 | "if you get pinched with hidden charges" do you think customers are going to stay loyal to this treatment, look at growth of the spanish car rental firms and their competitive prices, we have gone through a boom period in travel, now is not the time to be telling shareholders about problems, | mike24
27/2/2007 15:55 | And so the penny drops for the chief as the debt rises. More negative cash-flow etc., | handycam

27/2/2007 11:44 | you hired from Avis inc not Avis Europe. They are not the same company. If you are asking did you get pinched with loads of hidden charges?; only you know the answer. But DYOR applies even more to car hire than it does to investments. | ccnp

17/10/2006 17:11 | Richard Fletcher didn't really think his piece out properly, I'm afraid. In fact, it was lazy journalism and he is far abler than the piece suggests. (Inside the City, S. Times) | handycam |
