17/11/2016 16:53 | Great news for all holders. I'd just like to say thank you to the excellent management first and then to Paul Scott and Michael Mouse's blogs. I actually came across this share via Michael Mouse, saw Paul Scott was a holder too via Stockopedia, did a lot of own research then invested over the last several months and topped up on weakness as I always do when I like a share similar with KWS, BUR, SOM and XLM to name just a few. It's good to see what other shares people who talk sense like but really important to back up with your own research. Well done all and having only started investing 6 months ago it's great to have my first potential takeover situation. Regards | blueeyes13
17/11/2016 16:51 | I think this is quite a generous offer and a counter-bid seems unlikely to me because of the below: Accordingly, the Avesco Directors have unanimously approved the Acquisition and intend to recommend that Avesco Shareholders vote in favour of the Scheme at the Court Meeting and at the General Meeting, as they have irrevocably undertaken to do so in respect of their own beneficial holdings of, in aggregate, 6,368,149 Avesco Shares representing approximately 33.4 per cent. of the issued share capital of Avesco on 16 November 2016 (being the last Business Day prior to the date of this announcement). Such irrevocable undertakings shall remain binding in the event that a higher competing offer for Avesco is made. In addition to the irrevocable undertakings from the Avesco Directors, NEP has also received irrevocable undertakings from Herald Investment Trust plc, Charles Stanley & Co Limited, Mr Ian Martin and Paul Jaconelli to vote in favour of the Scheme at the Court Meeting and the Special Resolution to be proposed at the General Meeting in respect of, in aggregate, 4,870,779 Avesco Shares, representing approximately 25.5 per cent. of the issued share capital of Avesco on 16 November 2016 (being the last Business Day prior to the date of this announcement). Such irrevocable undertakings shall remain binding in the event that a higher competing offer for Avesco is made. NEP has therefore received irrevocable undertakings to vote in favour of the Scheme at the Court Meeting and the Special Resolution to be proposed at the General Meeting in respect of, in aggregate, 11,238,928 Avesco Shares representing, in aggregate, approximately 58.9 per cent. of the issued share capital of Avesco on 16 November 2016 (being the last Business Day prior to the date of this announcement). | dab26

17/11/2016 16:44 | Gosh. Must walk the dogs more often!! | pj 1
17/11/2016 16:40 | Anyone unlucky enough to get stopped out of here during that alarming plunge from 330 to 260? I know I did :/ stop losses have saved me but more recently have started costing me .. Ho hum. | fruitninja84
17/11/2016 16:37 | Been looking to get into these recently after Paul Scott's continual positive stance and indeed sold out of Tracsis today with a view to moving money over here. .....and I never got around to it. Gutted - but well done all holders. Magnificent result for you. | denis2605

17/11/2016 16:29 | I've bought a new lot of 32 Red (TTR) - still have some that I have nearly trebled on. 32 Red runs gambling platforms allowing addicted gamblers to be parted from their money in whichever way they fancy. So if they prefer to lose their money playing Poker, or love losing playing Bingo, no problem. It looks cheap and no reason why it shouldn't head back to highs of 170 plus. It's got a deal with ITV for "I'm A Celebrity" and Ant and Dec games and there is strong rising revenue and profits. Looks a good gamble! | inlovewithaltitude
17/11/2016 16:29 | No X factor just WOW factor. Bring on counter bid. | red army
17/11/2016 16:28 | The massive premium is I think an attempt to stop any counter bid | nfs
17/11/2016 16:27 | Can you arrange for something simarlar at AGL, Michael? | thailand

17/11/2016 16:23 | Hellllloooo! Well done to holders here. That's a monster premium! Counter bid? ;-) ha Sphere - not long, sob sob | sphere25
17/11/2016 16:22 | come to daddy... | sspurt
17/11/2016 16:20 | Out of the blue! The latent value of CT was always there. Got a few grand of these in my ISA/SIPP's but closed a small long spreadbet only yesterday (grrr!), but cannot be greedy :) Nice work by the board of AVS. | bones
17/11/2016 16:19 | Well I have been saying it was undervalued since 2009 when it was 20p-25p. Fan bloody tastic is an understatement. Looks like a done deal unless a rival bid comes in. :))))))))))) | michaelmouse
