In more interesting news, VietJet's next A321 has been spotted at Airbus Hamburg, so delivery (due end July) should be imminent: hxxps://xfw-spotter.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/a321-211sl-vietjet-air-d-ayac-vn-a677.html

Lets look @ the "Viajet" sale and leaseback.4 maybe 5 A321s by 311216.Viajet think it is more efficient to lease them from AVAP.I cannot stack it.

I think that jeff actually has a jackal and hyde type condition, when it strikes him he posts as a rabid russman lamenting over not selling a tiny holding in cla when it was being delisted ! Jeff must be happy that paying all the cla capital out as divs is going to result in a nice tax bill for his nemesis ...

AVAP still has over £10m of equity in CLA.Residual Risk.AVAP may not have a business model.

Can we move on from CLA please -it's irrelevant to the AVap investment and starting to annoy everyone.

It appears that you have not seen CLAs last balance sheet. Dated 15th June 2016 unsigned.

I suspect they have worked that out. Seem to be doing an excellent job so far. The assets don't look illiquid to me they sold an old plane very recently and the others available are still out on lease. The fleet appears 100% utilised. The demand for older generation aircraft seems robust and the company confirms that prices are currently favourable hence they are moving older aircraft on.
I think all is going very nicely.

I perceive AVAP to be a property company. The properties are mobile but illiquid. To maintain a high LTV.AVAP needs access to cheap capital.

Either AVAP had over £10m exposure on 24th June.Or Jeff has shafted me again.

The date of my divi was 23 June.So AVAP exchanged USD into STG.Received £10m on the 23rd.On the same day changed it for USD.On 24th no STG risk.
