Yes terrible situation here, and its not pocket change they "want" to raise either.And the way the price has been caned just on talk about a possible placing, makes you wonder how low it will go when they finalise any funding, as they just showed their cards to any potential equity funders. Oops.Anyway, take a punt on GWMO as it could multibag very soon.

As we look back at the raft of paid for broker reports with, shall we say, rather silly valuations. This was clearly designed to ramp up the share price ahead of a equity dilution, but the hapless CEO and Cenkos could not get their act sorted before the slide continued. Bunch of clowns.

Thankyou Elrico for pointing out the risk with AVN. But we are grown ups and can make our own mistakes. This could go three ways now imo.

1. A 3 for 2 rights issue to raise £50m leaving AVN with a market cap of ~£90m.

2. A takeover at a premium to current price - might be tempting for a rival to get hold of Ka assets at a knock down price. A company like ISAT could refinance all that dept at a much lower rate than 10%.

3. A refusal by the market to give any more money and administration - which I think doubtful.

But a fresh investment now would be very risky until greater clarity in finance.

all imo and you make your own mistakes in this game.

By the way, I stated June 2016 would be a key month where AVN would need to come up with a refinancing plan and if not it could be toast come Christmas. Ok, I was a week out, but I was correct. No, don't thank me, tychee, michaelmouse, Seball, Weatherman, et al.

The market cap is c50mil and it needs to raise? Do the math.

Tychee – A history lesson for you. I posted details of Williams interview with the Telegraph, where Williams admitted he faked a live sat launch to prospective investors. In short, Williams admitted fraud in a national paper no less. Not bad enough for you; then how would you feel about your CEO announcing he has bought a token amount of shares, while he forgets to mention he sold a rather much larger holding at c&700 a share at a atime he was claiming they were worth £25. Not bad enough for you; how about the creative accounting in the FY 2015 for which the FRC are investigating. All these were covered in some depth by me on here, for which my reward was threats from AVN via ADVFN. I refused to remove or even edit my post, I stood by every word of it. I provided links to further details backing up my claims. Guess what? ADFVN bottled it and removed the post because I refused.

You can call me whatever puffs out your chest, you get facts, honesty and transparency from me. You may not like it, but I am no liar or deceiver. I am certainly not gloating at your loss or even michaelmouses loss. Do I feel sorry? No, I did not do any harm or damage to this company, Williams destroyed it himself, but hey, don't worry about him, he has banked millions after his sale and his grand over bloated salary he has not earned.

Go and get angry with him t the bears whom identified an over hyped, over priced company saddled with debt it never had a prayer of paying down.

This is absolute nonsense. "Good companies" cannot be destroyed by shorters; shorters simply identify overvalued situations and trade accordingly. If AVN is "destroyed", it did it all by itself. I don't short myself, but I have held here twice and sold (last time at 160) when it became clear that the company were nowhere near hitting their revenue targets, were not filling the sats as forecast and, most importantly, cashflow was inadequate. Added to all this, the company's announcements are opaque and, it seems, almost designed to obscure the true financial position. Of course we wish an innovative and technologically advanced British company well, but if you produce a business plan, you either carry it out or you don't. Avanti haven't.

You trash talk to a laughable degree, the one with the CEO conning the potential investor was the funniest thing I ever read on any BB. You dont add anything other than the point of view from what seems like a bitter old man who cannot back up any of his drivel. Good luck in the elrico dictatorship very glad I am not part of it.
