What are you suggesting AVN are stepping in only to allow hype on BB's. Why? to cause the price to rise.

Thanks heavens for me some may have seen through all the outrageous hype.

(and yes I can give examples)

I'm still waiting for someone to cut and paste my false or malicious posts, I've asked before but nothing comes. avoid the ramp word as I do it suggests information is false.

I have been blocked by someone within Avanti calling someone in iii.

I shouldn't worry too much about the aliens and their target practice....word has it that Avanti got in touch with an old mate from the 1980's,E.T.I think his name was.Anyway,he's a good chap and said he'd keep an eye or three open for any trouble!!

Shortly after that I couldn't post. That's what I expected to happen, it's happened to someone else too. Now iii can weed that person out.

I can't believe they were stupid enough to make the post (well I can to be honest).

I post this again you suggest wrong doing on my part, which is not the case.

It is not the only issue and I'm confident it will be dealt with and my account corrected

PS I don't know anything about charts but the trend would suggest that we are now due an upward surge from these levels.

greyseal - I have sold some on trailing stop, those are my rules but I still have my original holding from 163. This nonsense with Superg has nothing to do with AVN, he says.

Do what's right for you but don't let some poster on a BB shake you out of a stock you want to hold...and by the same token, don't be persuaded to hold either. You really must do what's right for you.

jeffian - actually, the FSA is obliged to look into all allegations.

Greyseal - the brokers don't know how many contracts will be sold or the timeline, all they can do is predict a price based on a set of assumptions. If you agree with the assumptions then you agree the valuation, or you can modify the assumptions and come up with your own valuation.

I hear what the brokers are saying and they seem to justify their targets, yet we are still drifting for no apparent reason. I am just wondering whether the brokers are wrong. Perhaps I'm a little impatient too.

There's some quite serious stuff going on in the world. There was Enron, there was Madoff, there was Langbar etc. I'm sure the regulatory authorities have plenty on their plate to worry about. So how seriously are they going to take the ramblings of anonymous PI's on a financial bulletin board without a shred of evidence other than that anyone who posts against a company must be a 'shorter' and anyone for it a 'ramper'? I reckon it's right up there with writing to the newspapers in green ink and signing off 'A Friend' and will be treated accordingly (i.e. there may be the pause of a nano-second - maybe less - before they hit 'Delete'.)

So just to put this one to bed the gist of it seems to be that superg1 says he has evidence that people connected to Avanti have been posting insider information on bulletin boards and superg1 says he has now passed that evidence on to the relevant authorities

Shall we try and leave it there and in superg1's words see what comes out in the wash?

Back to AVN..... Is this still a case of profit taking or should we start getting concerned? We are now back at pre-launch levels yet many brokers and pundits are targeting > 1000p SPs. All a bit confusing to me. I can't decide whether to sit it out or cash in at a break even. My gut tells me that this should get even more good coverage over Christmas/New Year but coverage doesn't seem to make any difference to the share price What are the chances of AVN switching to the main indicies - as that would give the share price quite a boost IMO

I am quite fascinated at all the bickering going on in respect of several posters.They only thrive when other posters buy in to their rubbish. The best advice is to ignore them and they will eventually go away but if you swallow the bait and continue thay will stay around. So please report on the important items and ignore responding to the rubbish .

One other point it is the potential market manipulation I am trying to sort out.

We know these things happen and I had a hunch it may be happening on AVN BB's just like many have a hunch I'm a shorter.

I know the shorter hunch is wrong and speculation at the moment. As for my hunch it has some evidence connected to it and that is what is being followed up.

The share price fall should be no surprise. The saying exists, by on rumour sell on news, so worry not just do your reasearch. Retraces happen on every share
