Yes, noticed that, Tole. Just a ha'penny tick up in the mid but more than 4p dearer to buy than a few days ago.

We have movement - tick up on the Bid. Maybe with Montanaro buying up F&C's holding and with the overhang out the way - these can now start their steady climb back up in the run up to results next week. (20th Sept)

Well it doesnt look as though the T+ speculators have even heard of ACZ yet, now within 8 trading days of results.
KBC Peel Hunt normally issue their updates on day of announcement or following day, should make for interesting reading regarding the more recent contract wins.

Anyway - no mention on here of the Times mention a little while back - normally confirms that they will follow-up when results are out.

Autoclenz, the car valeting firm spun out from Yule Catto last year at 125p, rose 6p to 110½p on unveiling two contract wins - one from an existing car rental client at Stansted airport - alongside its first-half trading update. KBC Peel Hunt said the deals will add £1 million to annual sales and that the shares offer "outstanding value", citing a 4.3 per cent dividend yield.

You can buy whatever quantity you like online at 109.9p. There's obviously a large seller and the minor tick up in price must be to entice buyers. Nevertheless that's no reason to dismiss it.

Ignore the quoted headline spread strudwick, the actual trading bid/offer is less than 2p. Not unusual with low volume stocks where there may have been an overhang, its always open to you to place a limit order anyway to test the water.
The quoted spread you see online may well narrow as volume increases towards results on 20th.
