06/9/2016 07:21 | Significant news. The transition to owner-operator, underwritten by MNG, has three implications IMO. - a sensible simplification of operations, leading to long-term cost savings - the underwritten cost will be repaid by AUE (that's us) with further dilution in the coming fundraising - it almost certainly indicates MNG's intention to take the company private, which is unlikely to end well for shareholders. So glad I reduced my holding long ago to a nominal interest. Such a shame. | shavian

01/9/2016 11:41 | Let's suppose a placing does take place. I can well envisage the new Senior/majority Shareholder might want to get its hands on a much higher % of the Company as a result of its Investment, possibly with a view to taking the Business private eventually. One strategy might be to buy-in again if such a placing occurs, with a view to getting bought-out at a later date, should the majority Shareholder wish to take the Company out of the Market. | pottermagic2310
01/9/2016 08:53 | Yavas yavas down again. Nerede'da? Placing here we come. | valentine
31/8/2016 13:37 | Another way of looking at it is that they have 1.143 Moz M.I. Resource (inc Reserve) at a grade of 3.63g/t. Based on the current share price that works out at US$18.4/oz whereas, on average, a producer in steady production would have it's M.I. resources valued at more like US$250/oz. So potentially a decent upside beckons once they have sorted out all the current hurdles! Clearly very speculative and not for 'widows and orphans' but stocks with cheap and economic in-ground gold oz are arguably a pretty good place to be right now. Infrastructure, mining and processing are in place and a deep-pocketed outfit has bought in heavily. Put it all together and then apply the probability of upside to downside risks and place your bets!! Chip | chipperfrd
