|The price of ASX:AUY Auiron Energy - later renamed Felix Resources ASX:FLX - was at 5.75p a share in June 2002 and subsequently fell to 1.25p in 2003.
The price of FLX rose to a high point of $23.30 in 2008 and was subsequently taken over by Yanzhou Coal of China for $18.05 a share in 2009. Shareholders were allowed to keep a holding in shares in subsidiary South Australian Coal SAC on a one for one basis; subsequently itself taken over by White Energy and at one stage worth an additional 50c per share.
AIM shareholders have seen a crash in commodity stocks in 2011 but should gain some confidence in the Aurion Energy/Felix Resources success story.
The success was due to the rising price of coal and excellent decisions by new management.
A mention of £850 million market cap in 2002 seemed like 'pie in the sky'. The highest market cap eventually reached was £2.8 billion after some dilution along the way -- good fortune ...
This stock went from the biggest dog stock in Australia in 2002 to the fastest mover and biggest recovery stock in 2008. Market cap went from £4.5 million to £2.8 billion.
The highest rising stock record is of course held by Poseidon NL in 1970 and it was the first stock ever to achieve 1,000 bagger status.|
|Anybody any idea of bulletin board in aus for flx|
|Auiron Energy have changed their name to Felix Resources, and only trade on the Australian Stock Exchange - FLX.|
|Auiron Energy ( AUY ) are now Felix Resources ( FLX ) and are only quoted on the Australian Stock Exchange ( ASX ).
Due to another stock having the same EPIC, please go to the EPIC XFLX.
Good Luck - Greb
|Todays news interesting. Still being pestered
by Barclays to have the shares transfer to my
name (at the moment in their nomminee acount).
Listing Yamana on aim and changing the letters
around in their epic (auy and yau) is rubbing
salt into the wound!|
|Have the invitation to hold or cash in my 2500 shares. As the amount receivable is likely to be tiny I am inclined to hold in the wishful thinking they may turn out to be another Poseidon(remember them about 40 years ago). Any thoughts anyone?|

|has anyone had any correspondance from any of these companies in the last few months|
|Anybody had any money from felix in respect of small holdings in auiron or will we be allowed to keep our shares in the hope of their being worth something one day|
|Can Anyone help?
As I see it Auiron has changed its name to Felix and
its taken over Yamana Gold, is that correct?
And is correct that Yamana Gold are going to list on AIM?
If so, where do we stand?|
|GOLD? Did you say GOLD? !|
|no but tony love you long time has!
|Hi tony979: I don't think you can bin them now as the shares are held with Felix Resources and can only be sold on chess.. So if you bin them you will still have them like it or not.
Still Felix still have potential if costs are kept down and Yarrabee makes EBITDA of around A$10 million to 2004. An Australian article suggests that if all goes well then Felix could be on a P.E. of under 5 in two years with further prospects with ADC, Minotaur at Hawks Nest etc., and a further acquisition programme.|
|I am binning them tonight, for what they're worth|
|Anyone having the problem of adding Epic FLX to there monitor as it is not recognized in the UK? Have you any suggestions?|
|A new board has been set-up for FELIX RESOURCES ( formerly Auiron Energy ), please go to " epic FLX ".
Thankyou - Noirua.|
|Felix ( formerly Auiron ) are steady at 6 cents in light trading on the ASX.|
|Felix move up to 6 cents today on further rumours about Hawks Nest, explorers Minotaur hit an all-time high of A$1.34.|
|Down to 5.5 cents with about 1.2 million shares traded.
Bad news, Stockhouse Australia is closing down its website.|
|TRADED AT 5.5 CENTS at the end of the day, with about 440,000 shares going through.|
|Felix have trickled down to trade at 5.7 cents with around 200,000 shares traded.
No news as yet, though there has been some unsubstantiated rumours that M.D. Jon Parker is to step down in favour of a more dynamic management set-up as at Buka Minerals. Felix look ready to separate the non-Yarrabee assets under a new name, the set-up would involve cash injection by new partners in return for substantial stakes to develop new coal and iron ore infrastructures.|
