Pretty accurate summary of the presentation. Measured confidence from a management team that sound really focussed on delivering real value from the business. Didnt pick up on any negatives and looks a very different animal to what has been served up before.

The investor presentation was very positive. The podcast market is continuing to grow and BOOM is outperforming their rivals. They expect to beat the market forecast for revenues this year and the Holy Grail of $35.5m, which would be brek even point) looks achievable in 2021. Unlike Rob Proctor, no forecasts! I think the most impressive aspect was the management team: Stuart (CEO) and Brad (CFO), who emphasised several times that they run a very, very efficient ship, 35 headcount and have cut some of the historic fat. They had a clear focus and strategy, clearly doing a lot of number crunching analytics. Now seems steady as she goes, expanding the original content beyond the current 28 with LA and London studios prospectively being added to NYC. All divisions should grow in 2021.

On the sales process, Stuart said simply it was too early and with the shareprice, no one was going to pay 3/4 x (my reading between the lines for figures). Stuart was appointed CEO, 1 Jan 2020 and has had Covid, which was a hit but nearly back to pre-levels and a selling the company process, so something of a baptism of fire! All in all impressive. Agree csm that it is only a matter of time before the positives are recognised.

Amazing that this is still sitting at £2, one day I will wake up to a trading statement or a bid at £3 plus, if someone far smarter than me put over £3m in at £2.25 recently and the directors buying in regularly it’s only a matter of time for me imho dyor

bought in here on takeover rumours. Not sure if there's any substance in them, but it feels like a good business. :-)

American buying? Friday and today 3pm+ moves. Would't surprise me, as I read an article this morning on either CNBC or markets.businessinsider on "Five podcasters to look to be taken over" unfort I cannot find the link (apols) and don't kmow if BOOM metioned as I would have to subscribe, but looks like a hotgame in the US. Disney+ are all going into streaming bigtime.I don't think a bidding war is out of the question. Drop in the ocean valuation for the majors.

Audioboom calls directory enquiries and orders a Singapore Sling - who is Peter Antonioni and Singapore-based One Nine Two, and what should private investors conclude from the failed sales process? Some research:
