26/8/2016 14:09 | Excellent first power generation to the grid not far away now. | seball
26/8/2016 13:21 | Great News Offshore UK wind farms hit by subsidy deal delay. Auction will not happen until early next year [2017]. ..... Companies such as Denmark’s Dong Energy, developer of the world’s largest offshore wind farm, have been expected to bid in the new auction, which is also likely to be open to some other renewable energy technologies, such as wave and tidal power. Tidal power you say? Well that's nicely timed for companies with pre-existing tidal infrastructure about to connect to the grid.... there aren't many sites around the UK, although it may face competition from the Swansea bay lagoon/its future iterations. ARL would have a solid headstart though perhaps since all they have to do now is build the turbines, drop them in the sea and connect them (as opposed to years of planning permission bureaucracy getting the big tidal stuff going). | seball
23/8/2016 15:21 | Giant cable management system being mobilised for the MeyGen project. British engineering at its best! #MeyGen hxxps://t.co/wuKlJbe | seball
23/8/2016 08:55 | I think these will rerate once we start getting revenues from selling power to the grid. | seball
22/8/2016 12:43 | Doing some research and this looks like a cracking investment with the recent fund raise at 55p and DEME buy in which values Atlantis at £1 a share and that's before any electricity sold to the grid. | seball

12/7/2016 12:20 | Seems like there should be a bit more hype surrounding this. Turbines are there, circa 6 weeks (pending testing) until installation, EU has committed it's pledge to existing grants as well as reiterated its commitment to providing further grants whilst the UK is still in the EU (5-10 years). Talks of Scottish independence should be music to AR's ears. All seems positive. Share price should be set to double at minimum come first power. | ensja540

20/4/2016 10:09 | Ditto, the placing is all to the benefit of future development of the company. Don't know how the poster can say it's pumping, the quality of posters makes you cringe sometimes. | battlebus2
20/4/2016 09:41 | As usual GHF has hit the nail on the head so a few more for me. Not a large holding yet. | pj 1
20/4/2016 09:35 | Funds will always be needed for these types of project, as long as they are kept in check then this will keep moving. Slight slippage on the timing of first generation back now to H2 2016. | soupdragon55
20/4/2016 08:44 | Mach100 - Institutions and others will have been brought "inside" a week or fortnight ago. The shares were sitting at 55p on 08.04 when I'd imagine discussions were taking place. Peel Hunt update this morning, "A placing has raised £6.5m for Atlantis at 55p per share, a 30% premium to the price of two weeks ago, reflecting the partnership announcements of last week. The cash is added to the December 2015 level of £3.3m (unrestricted) and the potential £2m to come from partner DEME (announced last week) and will fund working capital, operating expenses and project development work on Sound of Islay and Meygen Phases 1B/1C. It will help ensure that these prospects reach financial close, both adding value and bringing further cash in the form of developer premiums. It also boosts credibility with supply chain, financial and public sector partners." Regards GHF | glasshalfull
20/4/2016 08:36 | Hi all, Well, there's a lot of 'engineering' involved in this type of ground-breaking project, financial and otherwise...... Well handled, I'd say ;-> In from 34p, so not particularly bothered. ATB | extrader |
