28/1/2012 10:21 | Athol Gold & Value -- "Value" make me laugh!!! | orado
27/1/2012 18:59 | does this company make any money ?? share issued go up by another 3rd | topdoc
22/1/2012 09:46 | Looking again, Athol are not such a bad way of getting an interest in small and third tier gold stocks. Many of these are very high risk indeed though some will equally come good in time - an improvement in Val last week a case in question. At an asset valuation of 0.47p the share may well be at too bigger discount to asset value. | noirua
18/1/2012 18:36 | hello tom ! ;) | maurillac
13/1/2012 15:32 | So far Ascot Mining have fallen badly, and the recent Plus market stocks with the recent merger of funds rarely trade, in fact only 3 stocks have traded at all in the last 4 weeks. Fund assets must have reduced in value from 0.47p down to 0.45p a share, at a guess.; as some rarely trade the value is uncertain. At 0.28p Athol trade at a discount to the last asset valuation of 0.47p of 41%, seems more than a trifle overdone. | noirua
05/1/2012 11:33 | I see that TW keeps on adding value. lol | orado
29/12/2011 08:37 | Small amount of interest probably shows MMs are not holding much stock. Probably discounted a bit too much and may get back to around 0.4p - 0.45p that looks fairer value, me thinks. | noirua
23/12/2011 09:24 | Difficult to work out the true value here as the costs are high for a small fund and once the shares really move then t1ps cream off 25% of the profits in the issue of more shares. Being invested in a lot of small caps in the high risk sector they are difficult to sell in quantity, AHG should trade at a big discount to asset value as the stock prices are uncertain. | noirua
22/12/2011 14:58 | Don't worry folks. I am sure TW will sort things out. lol | orado
20/12/2011 14:58 | 5,000,000 sell | orado
19/12/2011 10:37 | Only saviour here is the discount to asset value. Expect a lot more buy-ins of distressed funds of all sorts. If you think the micro-cap sector will bounce then AHG are cheap, if not, leave well alone. | noirua
16/12/2011 23:52 | Looks as if t1ps Gold fund or TW may be taking the opportunity to mop up a little stock here and there in what is usually a lightly traded stock. Probably trading on a 35% discount at present and a cheap way into micro-cap stocks. The gold price seems steady again and the £ is about 4% cheaper adding $60 to the $1,600 oz closing price tonight. | noirua
16/12/2011 15:49 | This isn't the worst investment company on AIM, (Alexander David Investments takes that honour) but its there or thereabouts in the dregs | bam bam rubble
16/12/2011 14:53 | Glad the shares have given up all their pre ramp gains. Perhaps it will encourage them not to try and pull a fast one like that again. Not holding my breath though. | horndean eagle
16/12/2011 13:55 | topdoc maybe, that's because the value has dropped so much | orado
16/12/2011 13:54 | > topdoc - 16 Dec'11 - 13:28 - 869 of 870 > > I wonder how much these directors get paid.Is there any way of finding out? Read the annual report and accounts. | jimbo55
16/12/2011 13:54 | wow Somebody just bought 500.000 | orado
16/12/2011 13:53 | This share no longer shows in the top 10 holdings of TWs gold fund | topdoc
16/12/2011 13:38 | I love the irony. They didn't think Athol Gold was good enough, so the added ' and value'. Lol, what arrogance. | orado
16/12/2011 13:28 | " your board is delivering as it said it would do" that is a 10% drop in the share price every few weeks.I wonder how much these directors get paid.Is there any way of finding out? | topdoc
16/12/2011 10:45 | As ever "talk is cheap" | argy2 |
