Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of payment cards that were designed in the 1950s. The long term chart from 2002 is fascinating and revealing. A long straight line, punctuated by a sudden upward spike as people realised online shopping might take off. Then thought it might not and they crashed back down. Then thought actually, it might take business from the high street and up they raced again until the sharp pin of Brexit burst the bubble. Will they merit such a high rating? Oh yes they will, or oh no they won't is going to ensure plenty of volatility ahead.
