What's the odds that a placing is being arranged now? I expect an rns this week. Smart money might think.. TM in London...good time to finalise the admin? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?"

Agree cyberbub that it is not always the case. But it is in the majority of cases. If you have the money it's worth putting it in for a crafty buy should it happen.

Not always the case pyglet. I have been in shares which don't retreat to the placing price. Yes they always do in potless micro cap explorers... but in serious companies with genuine resources worth way above the current market cap, it's not always the case.Today is shakeout day, we will see the direction of travel in the next few days and it may well be up IMO.GLA

Plenty of time to pick some up at 2.3p as it will drop to that- it always does. Putin a buy order at 2.3p for 28 days and you'll be laughing.

Anyone could have seen 2.3p coming. I said it over a week ago. The steep fall from 3p recently was a giveaway with the last private placees selling off their stock to fund the new issue. It's a slap in the face for small PIs but that's the way this market works. All we can do is pick up the dregs with 2.5p as a cheap entry point.

It was a sure thing that something was coming, i posted elsewhere on the 1 December to that effect, that i would not be surprised to see something 'imminently'. With mines and money happening, it all seemed like good timing. Then there was 'silence' from a number of notable posters who had been very actively promoting the company previously.

To ayesha4. Some criticism here for as gently as I could announcing the placing. Find that a little odd as I thought that what's BBs were for.

I see you're invested in BNN - now that really is an exciting stock. All good news is what I'm hearing on that front but I think you already knew that.

Met TM last week and think he could pull this exploration off. IRR is impressive and can see a modest re-rating. Surprised he didn't raise more in this last placing as this will only take him through to Q3 from the historical cash burn.

Someone in the twitter group has just posted a buy of 440k / 2.45p.

Yet to show.

Being quoted 2.525 for 100k. Moving up so far.

It's just my opinion. Seen many stocks dip below placing prices recently (sxx and tern for example). At least give reasons to make my comments look like nonsense !! I might add that the two stocks I use as examples were over subscribed as well

Interesting day ahead, inevitable mark down on opening but a much more attractive investment than yesterday in terms of risk /reward so one would expect some decent buying / adding.

Any dip might be short lived... the inside-trading shorters from 3p have already had their pound of flesh in the last month... in these circumstances you sometimes get a short dip and then it's onwards and upwards... remember that there is no more fear of placings for 9 months at least...NAI

Glad that's out of the way. Hopefully now we will see a dip below placement price allowing us all to add cheaply. I'm guessing 2-2.1 will be spread at some point in next few weeks at which point I would happily Triple my stake.
