08/11/2017 14:05 | ian Thanks for the information. I know it used to be 5% but I note that the date shown in the handbook is 26/11/2015. I was unaware of the change so you are correct. My apologies for misleading. Do you read it that below 3% is not reportable? | bracke
08/11/2017 13:50 | Hi bracke, Thanks for your views. I believe the thresholds for mandatory disclosure are lower as per this excerpt from the FCA rule book ( ): ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (1) reaches, exceeds or falls below 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10% and each 1% threshold thereafter up to 100% ....... DTR 5-1-2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ However, I'm happy to be corrected if I have got this wrong! | ianwwwhite
08/11/2017 12:04 | Good day ian The reduction is relatively small in comparison to their total holding. More to the point is that it takes the holding under 5.00%. Because they have dropped under 5% they are not obliged to inform the market of any subsequent sales. So they can gradually dispose of shares 'on the quiet' if they so wish. The market appears to have built in the Trump tax changes but when there is a suggestion that there maybe problems it slows the market. I note that the Democrats won a couple of elections yesterday so that may also slow the market. There remains the prospect of the annual Santa Rally. | bracke
08/11/2017 11:47 | Good morning bracke I am guessing that the Harris Associates LP ('Harris') reduction is just a 'business as usual' portfolio adjustment. Wiki says 'Harris manages long-only U.S. equity, international equity, and global equity strategies which are offered through its mutual fund company, the Oakmark Funds, and other types of vehicles'. However it seems like AHT price has been on a bit of a roller coaster over the last few days, perhaps something else is afoot? Disclosed shorts remain unchanged at 1.01% since 19th Sept 17 | ianwwwhite
08/11/2017 10:59 | Just noticed. Change of Holding Harris Associates LP - Decrease 698,540 to 24,613,484 - From 5.07% to 4.93%. | bracke

01/11/2017 14:05 | The share price appears to be disregarding the US market rise. If it has decided it wants to retrace likely support zones are 1911 and 1896. | bracke
01/11/2017 11:18 | When I opened this thread I expected to see the share price at or very close to 2000. Why? Because the DOW Futures are up 125 points, over 23500 to an all time intraday high and AHT falls.....ridiculous | bracke
