05/6/2017 10:29 | Agree fully Bracke. I do however see it as a long term 'no brainier', very much like the precious AHT. | clarky5150
05/6/2017 10:15 | Good day clarky Just had a look at the Taylor Wimpey chart. 180 has been a previous s/r zone but it may decide to visit the Daily SMA 200 at 170. | bracke
02/6/2017 21:52 | URI tailed off toward close. I don't think AHT is out of the woods just yet. Btw, check out TW.L just gone xd on special diva payment and pull back has been overdone. Massive land bank and cash reserves. I see a 10-20% upside from current before calendar year end IMHO, DYOR etc. Have a good if not damp weekend all. | clarky5150
02/6/2017 17:27 | Nice to see AHT finishing the week on a high. It might well be that we will be seen as a 'dollar proxy' hedge during next week's election turmoil, and continue to advance, we can but hope. However we will need something far more sustainable to support further price increases IMHO, and maybe this will be provided at the next Quarter 4 and year end results announcement on 13th June? . | ianwwwhite
02/6/2017 17:18 | bracke touché .... as with one bound jack was free! lol! Have a great weekend everyone! . | ianwwwhite
02/6/2017 15:40 | Good day ian An oxymoron indeed unless the penitent is re-reformed? Good day clarky I've been out most of the day visiting the aged P. The gap holds but only just. Buyers still trying to push the share price up but it's hard going. At least it closed above 1600. | bracke
02/6/2017 12:42 | Bracke, it's nearly 2 pm and the opening gap hasn't been mentioned. | clarky5150
02/6/2017 09:20 | fenners I see a descending trend line which I find extremely scary. Cheers | 2flatpack
02/6/2017 09:06 | Scary that you can more or less draw a straight line across the top of the recent highs.... | fenners66
02/6/2017 09:05 | Actually I should re-phrase that designed to take from the just getting by and give to the tenants, if you own the land but someone else uses it and the local services then you pay. Pretty hard left wing. Cost of owning property would be huge - house price collapse together with higher taxes, no foreign investment and a weak pound , high imported inflation and a massive budget deficit and a return to 1970's labour laws and strikes ...... I remember the winter of discontent.... Is winter coming? | fenners66
02/6/2017 08:30 | Pencil tax? Maybe I was a touch apoplectic at the time! Sorry this is all off thread please ignore | eaglebeagle
02/6/2017 08:17 | That's not going to work too well for long. That would mean 1000 percent rise in council tax for me which I simply can't afford. Add that to increased income tax and I'm out of this country! How does that work for rental property then. So you rent, don't own but are responsible for. Pencil tax. Will maybe the poll tax issue look like handbags. Moron policy. | eaglebeagle
02/6/2017 07:13 | Clarky! I am the opposite stuck in a long about 400 points adrift. | lairddavid
01/6/2017 21:22 | Clearly designed to take from the rich and give to the "tennants" ....... | fenners66
01/6/2017 21:14 | I'm more of a clearasilmoron. Selfish I know but I am genuinely hoping for a little further on the slide in the hope aht drags uri with it. ''Tis that yank company that has me under water on a short. Doesn't seem to want to play ball today tho. After that I will be as long as a long thing. | clarky5150
01/6/2017 21:09 | What's an oxy? | fenners66
01/6/2017 20:22 | With the greatest respect bracke, surely a 'reformed penitent' is an oxymoron? :-) | ianwwwhite
01/6/2017 13:57 | Putting aside my halo for a moment....even if the share price manages to break and hold above 1600 it remains in a downtrend until it posts a higher high which means a break and hold above 1650. | bracke
01/6/2017 13:50 | Yes there's nothing quite like a poacher turned gamekeeper or a reformed penitent. | bracke
01/6/2017 13:26 | Typical, born again investors! accusing innocent bloggers of de-ramping. Come back Dark Vader, all is forgiven. Cheers | 2flatpack
01/6/2017 11:50 | Many a true word said in jest. I am hoping for an increase in share price at or approaching the results on the 13th. | bracke
01/6/2017 11:44 | Is it a case of:bracke long go shortbracke short go longOnly kidding! :)DD | discodave4
01/6/2017 11:24 | Good day 2flat Your post comes perilously close to a de-ramp. I really don't know what has come over contributors to this thread,. It now appears bearishness is fashionable. As to "the light" it seems to me that each post makes it dimmer! clarky As you know I too was bitten by the AHT rise following my short....oh the pain. However I am determined to make some money out of this share and if that means a buy so be it but how long I hold for is another matter. | bracke
01/6/2017 11:08 | The sudden take off North late last year can be explained in one sentence. I closed long and went short in the drop between the market opening on Trumps win day and his pie in the sky speech 30 minutes later. The gods of long have punished me since. | clarky5150 |
