Took a small initial stake yesterday. These are not without risk having disappointed a few times in the past, however, if they hit the latest broker estimates of 1.9p EPS, there should be plenty of upside...will have proven that there is a viable and profitable business imo.

The latest broker note was on 24th Dec. and with the year-end being in April, you would hope that there was enough visibility to ensure that they will not disappoint again by announcing delays in revenues.

Can buy at 10.2p on a 10-10.75p spread.

I more of the theory take advantage of cheap price and size and buy when these mini overhang situations appear because when this moves and when they issue news you cannot get near the thing with limits cut to small amounts.

Anyway had a top up earlier of 14k

The last few years have certainly been challenging for Ashley House but with the strategic decision to focus on the Extra Care space (as well as the traditional Healthcare market) and the last piece of the jigsaw now in place, the business should be well positioned to grow over the coming years. At this stage, we make no changes to our PBT/EPS estimates (FY 2016E PBT £1.1m/EPS 1.9p and FY 2017E PBT £1.5m/EPS 2.6p), with our FY 2016E net debt expectation unchanged at £2.1m. Risks remain but with funding now in place and schemes coming through, the potential to capitalise on market demand for Ashley House’s Extra Care schemes remains sizeable. Trading on a FY 2016E PER of just 4.9x and EV/EBITDA of 3.9x, we believe the shares remain undervalued. We maintain a Speculative Buy stance and 15p share price target.

interesting - WH Ireleand re-iterates forecasts of 1.9p of EPS for April '16 and 2.6p for April '17. so on 5.2x current year EPS and 3.8x forecast.

Is this Scarborough development, the same plot they bought circa 2007?
Then Ashley bought out their partner's loans at the pits say 2010.
Not sure now, but Ashley did invest a couple of million in the plot with planning permission back then.
