15/7/2002 08:16 | market maker just moved amco up 3, almost at its year high | balcony
26/6/2002 14:12 | yes i noticed these quite large upward movements of the last couple of days , today marked up 5p early on and 2p more on just a thousand pound deal. i think a bid is coming | balcony
26/6/2002 13:26 | Now up 2 days on trot, when market is collapsing all around us. Never been able to understand share price movements for arp. Good timing if you added, balcony. | wirralowl
20/6/2002 19:48 | could be a good time to add more ,fallen a lot in recent days | balcony
01/6/2002 11:22 | thanks balcony, can't complain too much at the moment about either; likewise hope all is well with you. Interesting to see a small markdown in price on no real volume (just 2 transactions in last 3 days), so don't think was anything to do with AGM. disappointed not to get an RNS update on progress/trading or summary points from AGM, but unfortunately not surprised. As has been said before, this company's PR is the only reason in my opinion this share isn't sat at £1.20, which still would only put them on a current year PE of 7. Have a good break, Regards, WirralOwl | wirralowl
29/5/2002 22:23 | hi wirral owl no due to a last minute job i could not get to the meeting even though it was only 1 hour down the road from were i live, hope your shares and life are going well. | balcony
29/5/2002 19:54 | hi balcony, Did you go to the AGM today ? Would be interested to hear what was said, as the PR machine backing amco is non-existent. | wirralowl
28/5/2002 16:41 | any of you guys or girls going to the agm tomorrow? | balcony
18/5/2002 00:07 | hopefully we should hear good news at the agm on the 29th of may | balcony
17/5/2002 20:38 | I would love some weakness from here. I would buy more. | washbrook
17/5/2002 20:27 | mr.owl, yes the 12.1 was last yrs, this yrs' 17.3 and 19.1 next | cb7
17/5/2002 11:50 | Welcome aboard Washbrook. As Balcony said we all feel there's still plenty of room for growth here. Even after recent rise PE still only about 5.5. EPS in year just gone were 16.7p, so feel your forecast 2002 figure could be too low. Is it Brewin Dolphin's ?, because as CB7 said they underestimated last time. | wirralowl
17/5/2002 10:22 | re BALCONY 2002 Forecast eps12.1x12.83m shares in issue=£1.55m Cap=12/1.55=7.74 Cash in bank=£3.298 great cashflow £6.281[£2.776] low bank loans shareholders funds £17.4m no major shareholders-- spread All operations profitable. | washbrook

16/5/2002 14:53 | 2.50pm This looks a bargain I notice they were well up early on I will try to buy 3000 see what happens? 2 market makers Only 1 mm 90-97 would sell to me at £1 therefore 11.1 spread | washbrook
30/4/2002 16:39 | £2, you wish? I think 1.20 would put it on a realistic prospective p/e of 7, (unless there's some abnormal action/activity).... | cb7
30/4/2002 15:24 | well wirral owl and cb7 at last amco seem to be getting a bit of press my guess the best is yet to come ,what do you hope for i think 2.00 before they get taken over , | balcony
30/4/2002 09:44 | u r not on your tod....just nowt to say.....nice to see amco get recognised, just patience required,(a virtue lacking in most pi's these days!) | cb7
30/4/2002 09:23 | Looks like I'm talking to myself, but for anyone interested mentioned in The Mail today, as 'legendary' investor takes a stake : LONDON (ShareCast.com) - AIM-listed engineering minnow AMCO Corporation rose 8p to 91.5p, excited by news that legendary fund manager Leonard Licht has acquired a near-4% stake, the Mail says. Licht made his name at Mercury Asset Management, but later moved to Jupiter | wirralowl
29/4/2002 13:14 | Nice to see Friday's rise continuing today - up another 9% today, albeit on the back of a IC tip. To be honest the company needs all the publicity it can get, as their broker's certainly aren't doing the job. Even after recent rise, the excellent recent results (ADVFN - please update monitor!) produced EPS of 16.4 and therefore Amco are still only a current PE of 5.5 !! Is a re-rating similar to their off-shoot, Tolent, out of the question ? | wirralowl
26/4/2002 20:59 | Summary of IC tip courtesy of nothing-ventured.com : AMCO at 76p, contracting and engineering services. Last month's results showed a good return to the black for this structural engineering, property development and contracting group. Enjoyed 70% growth from increased railway maintenance last year and will benefit from ongoing government investment. It's confident that all operations will be profitable this year. The shares are far too low. | wirralowl
26/4/2002 09:38 | tipped in the IC today 26 April. Interesting. | csh |
