04/6/2009 13:08 | NEO advertising - Dailydooh's number 1 HOT or NOT company for 2008. HOT Neo Advertising Neo entered the Iberian Market via an acquisition of 51% of the geographical market leader DotOne, incorporated Neo Advertising Poland, incorporated Neo Advertising Italy (through a Broadsign partner called Nodum), did acquisitions in Scanidnavia, setup a business in China, now in the UK via a major stake in Avanti Screen Media, announced profitability in Canada (phew!!!) AND that's not including the deals they walked away from!!!! There is also a probable deal in India (though the due diligence seems to be taking a bit of time), they are looking at the US (but sensibly staying away from the remnants of Reactrix it seems), employ well over 100 people and had a 2008 Budget of something like CHF 35 Million for the entire group (without taking into account any of the new acquisitions). What else can we say? | anusol
04/6/2009 13:06 | "Avanti is achieving an increasing level of profitable sales. The Company has today announced that it has secured two further new shopping mall contracts and an extension of the agreement with Spar Convenience Stores on improved commercial terms" EXCELLENT - and great to hear about the strengthening ties with NEO. Also glad to see the back of Simon Rees - during the 2 years he's been in charge, share price has gone form 35p to less than a penny few months ago. Wow, great track record! | anusol
04/6/2009 12:49 | On-line limits to buy seem ridiculously small, 10K with BARX(?).. | gerri-c
04/6/2009 12:22 | every buy is moving level 2 up, either mms sucking people in or they are short and know of some good news. Either way this can fly on no news if the buys start to flood in.. | jonnyfro
04/6/2009 11:55 | Such pessimism - how can you with ASG? lol Im guessing it'll be a contract win - no doubt small, but its been such a long time since they announced any new business. | anusol
04/6/2009 11:48 | will the news be, We have secured another massive order but are unable to fund it...therefore we are issuing another 1 trillion shares. | 6kenny
04/6/2009 11:40 | Less than £4k bought today, yet 33% increase in price - either MMs are short of stock, or trying to ramp up the speculation with a bit of price action. | anusol
04/6/2009 10:40 | Lets hope its positive news then ! | anusol
04/6/2009 09:03 | news coming!! | raginghippo
20/5/2009 07:30 | And that's the reason they won't go higher!!! C'mon Simon time to follow through with some chunky contract news and gain some momentum. | blueblood
19/5/2009 19:50 | I tried to sell my 80,000 shares today which I purchased at 8p ages ago. I cannot see this going much higher short term and would like the dough to top up in DWY. | 6kenny
19/5/2009 17:05 | info on the arty festival - it won't get us any immediate cash flow, but good for the profile and hopefully boosts the medium term. Did someone say Google were looking to buy Avanti Screenmedia? Excellent :-) | anusol
19/5/2009 16:43 | look at the chart, everytime we get here it falls back down....if we rip through this level it's blue sky... | 6kenny
19/5/2009 16:16 | so what is the commercial impact for ASG, that is the real question. Great that Sony are endorsing Doggy DOOH screens but what does it add to the bottom line? | 6kenny
19/5/2009 15:07 | Can someone replace the 'Woolies' graphic in the header with a nice big SONY graphic? :-) | anusol
19/5/2009 15:01 | Well there's life in the old dog...... what a welcome surprise. Agree that a bigger rerating would be expected, but perhaps it needs a few days to leak out into the press. Im pretty confident Avanti will not be on many people's radr - just us long suffering holders.... | anusol
19/5/2009 14:03 | Isn't Sony a big enough name to warrant a (much) bigger rise? On AIM we used to see 100% to 500% rises on such news. 30% seems a bit of a non-event, especially when the share is almost at its year low. rant over... | andrbea
19/5/2009 14:01 | Buy limits presently only 70K with BARC | gerri-c
19/5/2009 13:38 | This has surely put them on the path to re-reating? ..."Billed as the 'largest public art event ever' the festival is a global event that is being screened across 14 countries in 64 cities worldwide. The festival will run from 22 May to 3 June 2009 For this unique event, Avanti has also recruited several other high profile operators in the UK including the BBC's 16 large format LED Screens located in major city centres and City Gateway's LED screen in Manchester. With these and other DOOH networks, the festival will be broadcast to an estimated weekly audience of 25m in the UK alone."... | gerri-c |
