just noticed the thread, good idea CR.

I see today that the National Galleries have come up with nearly £50M to buy the Titian paintings for the nation. These have been in Scotland for 200 years but he threatened to sell them to a higher bidder.
That is a lot of money for a Titian, a flouncy big 16th Century painting with fat ladies. I assume it will hang half the time in London and half in Edinburgh. ( It has always been in Edinburgh all the time till now).

Just sold my last 55000, many bought 10yrs ago. Can't believe I have let so much money go down the drain.
Tried to meet the chairman 4-5 yrs ago when I held 1%, got fobbed off with Musselle. Thought then he was just a journeyman drawing his salary. Should have followed my instinct and got out then but didn't want to accept the inevitable loss.

Worthy of a bump.

I like the work.

Now if IS + TW pull something out of the bag I might well afford one. ;-)

Regards.

Anyone watch John Myatt on Sky last night painting Catherine Tate?

Thought the head was a bit small compared to the rest of the body but a pretty decent job in the time he had I thought.
