19/7/2019 13:14 | iLeeman, well done that man. I've held AAZ many times from 20p, but dug in deep last year at 64p. Here I have traded this many time some years back when they were getting good drill result, but was priced at 5p so would have thought should be worth at least that now that it is digging it up and making the odd few bob, so hope to see 5p again. | cinoib
19/7/2019 11:34 | Imho AAU is very well run, having one of the most qualified and methodical CEOs in the AIM mining and exploration space. Under the board's direction the company has been tremendously successful both financially and technically. Importantly to me, they are not afraid to take advantage of opportunities as they arise. That, coupled with some very promising assets, is why I have chosen AAU and I am very confident my investment will grow steadily and surely over the next few years with decreasing risk as production increases and any debt is more rapidly repaid. However I do understand the temptation for some to diversify into more risky explorer/miners with potentially higher returns but equally the downside also should be considered. | charles clore
19/7/2019 10:56 | Finally a bit of sense coming in with price ticking up. Gold higher now than when AAU hit 2.6p a few weeks ago, so first targets above that. | ileeman
19/7/2019 10:54 | Kirbs, re the mining maven tweet; I've got to go through it again, but in the recent pro active interview, I have noted from what KS said: Exceptional. High grade mineralisation. Large gold base metal system (that is) also rich in silver. Considerably larger than perhaps was given consideration to in the earlier phases of exploration. Very pleased. WE NEED TO THINK BIGGER. Shaping up very well indeed. I also noted the reference to the area between Ardala North and Salinbas North being largely unexplored previously so was happy with the RNS despite the lack of headline grades / finds. | mcmather
19/7/2019 10:52 | Wasn't expecting a rise in share price today as still trading well within bid/offer, something going on here? | thanksamillion
19/7/2019 10:46 | JC2706 you are absolutely on the mark. depending on timeframe we could already be in a bull market and the price should go up. but of course even when the trend is up, the price still goes down on some days. and trends can change. it just confirms my belief: prices spend some of their time going up, and some of their time going down. and I have a lot of historic evidence to back that up. | backmarker
19/7/2019 10:42 | Thought I'd do well to understand the geology a little better. This article explains a lot. I see one of the worlds largest open cast mines is called "Bingham", could it be Biggles's family estate. You wish ;-) | thanksamillion
19/7/2019 10:36 | Well, for it truly to be a bull market you will need more than one monthly close above resistance but on the shorter time frames the signs are promising (even if this isn't yet past a bull trap). However, I wouldn't rule out a further back test of the resistance zone even if that is getting less likely as time passes. | jc2706
19/7/2019 10:35 | "Ariana Resources Kiziltepe Gold Production Drops In Second Quarter" this was Alliance News headline after the RNS. not exactly encouraging. if you were someone with AAU on your watchlist you could be forgiven for reading this as bad news and not bothering with reading the full RNS to get the real picture. and then moving on to other gold share targets. | backmarker
19/7/2019 10:31 | Hi, that is a technical definition, bit like recession being 2 consecutive quarters of declining GDP. I'm thinking more about my own instinctive definition! | jaynesdad
19/7/2019 10:21 | @jaynes Pull up any gold chart multi year resistance was $1360, any prolonged price action above that means we are in a bull run. | ileeman
19/7/2019 10:19 | When I see Gold decisively clear $1450 even I will start to believe we are in a gold bull run, to date I have been sceptical | jaynesdad
19/7/2019 10:15 | Great week for silver up 8% | theduke420
19/7/2019 10:13 | Good timing, I recon a move up to 2.6 next week. | thanksamillion
19/7/2019 09:27 | Also added a few more this morning and as someone suggested yesterday bought some AAZ, good entries considering gold move. | ileeman
19/7/2019 08:37 | Took another 130k @ 2.275p whilst it's quiet! :@) | gymratt
19/7/2019 06:27 | Somebody tidied up on a nice million at 2.3p last night - that's what I call good timing. I wonder if it was MDV, the Chairman, now he's no longer in a closed period. If it was then I guess an RNS will follow. | nov31
