22/5/2019 17:32 | Thanks for your thoughts on this. Hopefully they can resolve this as it would be a very positive move | drh3
22/5/2019 16:01 | A share buyback is the opposite of a fundraising so that should go down very well here. | charles clore
22/5/2019 15:03 | Think they meant resolving rather than resolution at the agm. It was for a small amount of buyback but having systems in place for buyback can only be good for share price as it gives a message to markets that there is intent, be it now or in the future. | bigglesbingham
22/5/2019 15:00 | It was a pure accounting issue , something to do with not being able to by back stock if you had certain item/s on balance sheet. | bigglesbingham
22/5/2019 12:56 | The clear bullish flag formation currently in place in the $gold price, as far as it's definition goes, is pointing to a short term resolution and an increase (based on the length of the 'flagpole') to somewhere around $1440 by year end or early next. That's just what the tealeaves are saying and are my opinion only. However, if it's even anywhere near the ballpark, with potential for Hot Maden II (or Salinbas I!), and 90% of loan paid off by year-end, this Xmas could be one for the books. :o) | crossfirecssf
22/5/2019 12:27 | Sorry, not clued up enough to answer that, it may be within the BODs remit to do without. Someone else may be able to answer that. | jaynesdad
22/5/2019 12:18 | Thanks JD. I guess this requires a resolution at the agm? Looking forward to the end of year results. I think those should come in the next 2-3 weeks? | drh3
22/5/2019 11:52 | DRH3 It was a technical accounting issue with the Capital structure of the company, which I wouldn't pretend to understand. Nothing dodgy, was just something that needed resolution before the company could act that way. | jaynesdad
22/5/2019 10:59 | DRH3, you raise a interesting point, something that i had meant to keep in mind as i did not entirely understand their rns in this matter, the rns in question being - hxxps://polaris.brig Perhaps it will be resolved at the AGM ? Certainly a question that should be raised at the AGM if no information forth coming. | swallowsflysouth
22/5/2019 10:38 | I noticed the company tried to buy back shares and were not able to. What was the problem? Last I saw they were going to update on this matter?. Would be great if they can reduce the number of shares below the 1billion mark.... | drh3
22/5/2019 10:01 | An interesting thought. Social changes altering the investment risk profile? The current share price is still in the uptrend but the volume of the latest move wasn't sufficient to go through 2p convincingly. May well need a period of consolidation before the next attempt although I would suspect that this would be sideways rather than down (but you never know for sure). If the next news is sufficiently good, perhaps it will create enough volume to break 2p convincingly and move to what seems like the inevitable 2.5-3p range. | jc2706
21/5/2019 18:40 | Saying they are traders is only an assumption, there are many reasons people could sell. I recently left one job and was looking ahead thinking I hope i secured another before i needed to sell any shares, life can come at you fast. If peoples situation is less secure than they are used to the fact the share price is higher than it has been for a while is a good time to sell. | kirbs4
21/5/2019 15:22 | Nah, just taking a profit I would guess...I'll be waiting a while before I take some profit. | shortarm
21/5/2019 15:09 | biggles - perception of value my friend | charles clore
21/5/2019 14:00 | Don't get this selling | bigglesbingham
21/5/2019 13:15 | Oh the joys of getting old, I asked the same question before but not sure I understood the answers. Why not make it simple? | paul280i
21/5/2019 12:15 | I'm not able to check anything at the moment, but I'm sure this question was raised and answered last time around Paul. May be worth checking back. | plasybryn
21/5/2019 12:12 | Is it me or can someone explain the figures in the Quarterly update? I struggle to completely understand the "silver credit", it seems to be included in the gross income of $10.86 million but also used to reduce the operating cash cost: "Operating cash costs are inclusive of on-site costs and off-site charges and royalties specific to the project. It also includes adjustments for stockpile balances at the end of each quarter, in addition to an adjustment for by-product silver." My calculations show that either the Cash Cost per oz should be increased by $178 to $577 or income should be reduced to nett income of $9.565 million. I don't think the figure should be used twice as it does give a false figure. I still think the results are brilliant so not complaining about them. | paul280i
21/5/2019 11:22 | Very positive vibes | bigglesbingham
21/5/2019 10:17 | Thank you Biggles. There does seem to be a different air about the company, hope it isn't just my imagination. | swallowsflysouth
21/5/2019 09:21 | Spoke to MDV the results will be out shortly. With regards to how they are remunerated my personal view is it will be set up as another JV but account being taken of the exploration costs equation. Point is they will be remunerated for the ore accordingly and will process in the most cost effective and practical way possible based on the set up of existing agreements and legislation. | bigglesbingham
21/5/2019 08:36 | What are those 1p trades I see? Seen them before on other shares surely you can’t buy so far under the normal price??....maybe my screen is bugged | oakey1 |
