07/2/2014 08:12 | Nice one snape - hadn't seen that yet | dashton42
07/2/2014 08:11 | Included in Simon Thompsons (IC) 2014 bargain top 10 | snape
07/2/2014 08:10 | Well, the share price is up 17.5% currently! No idea. | dashton42
07/2/2014 08:09 | What's going on this morning, anyone know? | daz
21/1/2014 17:01 | good share price movement - i beleive it is the pizza express guy who has come on board which is superb news imo as im sure he will have a whole raft of clients that he can bring to the table? big players have friends in high places! Im sure he hasnt bought such a big stake if he didnt think he/the company was going to progress well and make him so serious dough! | banking1
17/1/2014 13:05 | There you go - David Larkam sold a chunk yesterday. From Businessweek: "Mr. David Larkam serves as the Head of Research and Member of Operations Board of Arden Partners Plc." EDIT: And John Grahame Whateley... | dashton42
16/1/2014 19:06 | If it is that LJ, I can only guess that some of his private equity interests are maturing and he wants a bigger slice of the fees. Vertical Integration. | russman
16/1/2014 17:35 | I think that what confused me was trades 4-7 not showing up in the overall Buy volume on ADVFN. Anyway, I guess we should get an rns on Friday if directors have been selling, transferring or whatever. | dashton42
16/1/2014 16:43 | 10 trades (numbers 4-13 between 10:58 am and 13:15pm) all at 64p. Adds up to 3.5m, actually. Edit - ADVFN is reporting more trades than Mon£yam. Perhaps, there is some duplication in trades timed at around 13:15 from yesterday. It's a lot of the company anyway! Nobody holds that much stock so it looks like a few individuals must have sold out together. (Unless the Chairman or CEO have sold out and there is double reporting of buys and sells going through the MMs at the same price. I believe this sometimes happens - with the MMs taking a predetermined fee or slice of stock rather than the usual large spread on illiquid stocks.) | aleman
16/1/2014 16:05 | Where do you get 3.3m from Aleman? I make it buys of 2.8m so far today, plus 1.8m yesterday as well. | dashton42
16/1/2014 15:44 | Actually looks like 3.3m (14%) has changed hands so still another 1.1m shares to account for and then there is who has given them up. | aleman
16/1/2014 15:31 | Think you're right (assuming it's that Luke Johnson) | dashton42
16/1/2014 15:28 | Isn't he the Pizza Express entrepreneur. | skinny
16/1/2014 15:26 | Thanks Aleman. And there's me saying no share price move - and it's promptly up 15%! | dashton42
16/1/2014 14:53 | PING! Catching up with the other brokers? Numis has trebled in 18 months as corporate activity and listings have returned. | aleman
16/1/2014 13:53 | There seem to have been some sizeable trades going through post-results, but no change in sp, or RNS releases. I'm only recently a holder - is this a normal pattern, or can anyone see what's happening on L2? | dashton42
14/1/2014 08:07 | After the strong first half, I was hoping for a bit more but 2014 should be an even better year. | daz
13/1/2014 11:48 | Results last year on 15 th Jan - holding and wishing and hoping .... | puku
11/1/2014 11:06 | A bit late in the day but I am looking at Note 14 for trading investments especially the warrants. I could trawl their placings, anyone got any clues. | russman
04/12/2013 19:56 | Numis & Cenkos seem to be doing well. Hopefully the general trend will shine up Arden aswell. | russman
18/11/2013 14:23 | also boeds well when the directors are buying stock back - they must be very optomistic about the companies current and forecasted business coming through the pipeline..... | banking1
09/11/2013 10:48 | Agree, it could be near 100p in a years time Banking, Cenkos is also moving up, it seems that the market is waking up to the fact stockbrokers are in a good place. ARDN is well under the radar and has has been shown in the last few days, it doesn't take much buying to move the price, so when there is wider appreciation of the sector, the shares could fly. | daz
08/11/2013 17:19 | All those bits sure do mount up. | russman
08/11/2013 10:11 | sp movement very nice - i got in circa 40 something pence. hoping to see |£1+ on a 6-12 month view | banking1 |
