Heading back to recent lows by the looks of things?, if so we may start to see some activity, GL S

The bid finally gave in, may start to see a market being made if the bid and offer can drop a tad more, GL S

Probably tempting fate, but good to see price holding up despite a few sell trades ticking by, GL S

Let us hope so Bill and agreed the next news should hopefully see us with cost base fully covered, along with the cash position continuing to strengthen,

It is an odd market at the moment with these micro caps, companies with decent IP and cash in the bank, along with movement towards profitability like Arcontech do not seem to wet the appetite, GL S

It doesn't take much to move the price back up! I believe we are on a countdown to some significant news which will either take the form of a significant contract win or the business is being sold/merged.

There must be significant pressure from the likes of Investec for some positive action, as many shareholders are sitting on substantial losses and will not want to see more of the same for the next few years.

Another positive is the confirmed revenues for the current year, which from a cash flow point of view, should cover the cash outflows.

Simon - Just another 132m to go ;-) It reminds me a bit of CAP a few weeks back, when CSFB were dumping, hopefully we will see them cleared in the next couple of months, GL S

Looks like Investec just want out any price, I suppose once you have given up any price is a good one, 5 million at 0.07p !

MM's playing games again. Looking at the volumes and buys v sells, there is no pressure on the price. Might even top up again.

I never sold my million, happy to leave it until the price has a good run.

Looks as if the seller is still feeding the MM's, I may try and top slice a few bits to help the cause! ;-) GL S

Interesting - RNS just released by Investec saying that they have received a £180m injection into the Asset Management aspect of the business. Don't know what that means for Arcontech, if anything, but if Investec were running tight on funds for investment, they aren't now.

swizz - they seem in no hurry to replace Andrew Miller which lends credence to my view that they would consider a buy-out/merger. Whilst they appear to have good systems protected by IP, they are still only a small fish in a big pond. Yes, the directors might not get back all they have put in, but have they the stomach to really grow the business. Time will tell, but either way I am relaxed with my now sizeable holding here.

It would be good to see the board take some positive action here,

That said they are already sizeable holders in their own right, however some institutional activity with their broker would not go a miss, and they may find they have some friends out there who like the company message, GL S

Seriously I can only dream of doing things like that, would be fun to have a pot
of 10 million to take out overhangs like this but then when the price takes off
I would become the new overhang when I want to take my profit !

Simon - you wouldn't even have to pay that much at the moment if they want out. I reckon you would get them for 0.70p - 0.80p!!!

Simon - agreed. On a positive note, if someone wants to buy the company, they appear to have a willing seller in Investec. Pity we don't know how much they want to reduce their stake by.
