28/3/2013 13:26 | Heading back to recent lows by the looks of things?, if so we may start to see some activity, GL S | swizz
27/3/2013 14:21 | The bid finally gave in, may start to see a market being made if the bid and offer can drop a tad more, GL S | swizz
25/3/2013 13:26 | Probably tempting fate, but good to see price holding up despite a few sell trades ticking by, GL S | swizz
19/3/2013 11:52 | Let us hope so Bill and agreed the next news should hopefully see us with cost base fully covered, along with the cash position continuing to strengthen, It is an odd market at the moment with these micro caps, companies with decent IP and cash in the bank, along with movement towards profitability like Arcontech do not seem to wet the appetite, GL S | swizz
19/3/2013 10:24 | It doesn't take much to move the price back up! I believe we are on a countdown to some significant news which will either take the form of a significant contract win or the business is being sold/merged. There must be significant pressure from the likes of Investec for some positive action, as many shareholders are sitting on substantial losses and will not want to see more of the same for the next few years. Another positive is the confirmed revenues for the current year, which from a cash flow point of view, should cover the cash outflows. | bill182
18/3/2013 17:09 | Simon - Just another 132m to go ;-) It reminds me a bit of CAP a few weeks back, when CSFB were dumping, hopefully we will see them cleared in the next couple of months, GL S | swizz
18/3/2013 16:53 | Simon - there were more buys than sells today...games being played! | bill182
18/3/2013 16:41 | Looks like Investec just want out any price, I suppose once you have given up any price is a good one, 5 million at 0.07p ! | 34simon
18/3/2013 16:19 | MM's playing games again. Looking at the volumes and buys v sells, there is no pressure on the price. Might even top up again. | bill182
18/3/2013 16:08 | I never sold my million, happy to leave it until the price has a good run. | 34simon
18/3/2013 15:50 | Looks as if the seller is still feeding the MM's, I may try and top slice a few bits to help the cause! ;-) GL S | swizz
14/3/2013 12:22 | Looks like a few buys going through as sells! | bill182
14/3/2013 09:00 | Interesting - RNS just released by Investec saying that they have received a £180m injection into the Asset Management aspect of the business. Don't know what that means for Arcontech, if anything, but if Investec were running tight on funds for investment, they aren't now. | bill182
13/3/2013 16:24 | swizz - they seem in no hurry to replace Andrew Miller which lends credence to my view that they would consider a buy-out/merger. Whilst they appear to have good systems protected by IP, they are still only a small fish in a big pond. Yes, the directors might not get back all they have put in, but have they the stomach to really grow the business. Time will tell, but either way I am relaxed with my now sizeable holding here. | bill182
13/3/2013 15:08 | It would be good to see the board take some positive action here, That said they are already sizeable holders in their own right, however some institutional activity with their broker would not go a miss, and they may find they have some friends out there who like the company message, GL S | swizz
13/3/2013 12:39 | Ahh....got my decimal point in the wrong place! | bill182
13/3/2013 12:33 | Seriously I can only dream of doing things like that, would be fun to have a pot of 10 million to take out overhangs like this but then when the price takes off I would become the new overhang when I want to take my profit ! | 34simon
13/3/2013 12:32 | I'm not paying a million for them :-)) | 34simon
13/3/2013 12:29 | Simon - you wouldn't even have to pay that much at the moment if they want out. I reckon you would get them for 0.70p - 0.80p!!! | bill182
13/3/2013 11:42 | 137 mil at 0.1, 130 grand, should I give them a call :-)) | 34simon
13/3/2013 11:41 | Simon - agreed. On a positive note, if someone wants to buy the company, they appear to have a willing seller in Investec. Pity we don't know how much they want to reduce their stake by. | bill182
13/3/2013 11:27 | 137 million is going to take some shifting at current disposal rates eh | 34simon
12/3/2013 14:53 | Spoke too soon again sigh.... | 34simon
12/3/2013 14:07 | Could be Bill, however my trade tracker does denote as rt trades, but as you say good news either way, GL S | swizz
12/3/2013 14:05 | And they sell for a small, now that's what you call impatient...:-) | charmer1_23 |
