04/6/2015 10:58 | But the price is up.. | dosser2
04/6/2015 10:53 | Arcontech (AIM: ARC), the provider of products and services for real-time financial market data processing and trading, is pleased to announce that new terms have now been agreed with the significant customer referred to in the interim results announcement released on 26 March 2015. All payments previously owed to Arcontech have now been received. Surprised by this - other than the premature termination announced 26 march, there was no mention of withheld revenue. I assume also this means the significant customer is back as a customer under one assumes better terms for them. | janeann
30/5/2015 08:00 | "The future is small".... Interesting little book by Gervais Williams (Miton Fund Manager) about the small company effect and the benefits of income and value investing in the AIM market. It looks like ARC ticks all the boxes :) Makes sense as to why Anthony Cross has taken over 12% of the equity ! | multibagger
16/5/2015 06:25 | Good to see atleast tiny uptick on low volumes yesterday. A golden cross has formed with 50/200 day SMA and may attract the attention of chartists/momentum investors. Hoping that we may get some contract news or may be even an acquisition ! With a bit of borrowing and our £1.3m pile there may be some small niche player to take over (before we are taken out ourselves) - all speculation on my part, no news or evidence to back it up. Good luck all :) | multibagger
14/5/2015 08:11 | Hurray !! The infantry have arrived.....100 shares have been bought. A new home has been found for the 20p found in the back of the sofa....why would anyone invest / trade 20p and spend a few pounds in brokerage ? Beats me, but what do I know. Unless, of course.....it is a CODE !! (I'm just joking) :) | multibagger

07/5/2015 12:02 | Hi ccr1958...you are most welcome ! This was one of my earlier posts.... My reasons for investing here : Debt free £1.291m cash as of 19.03.2015 Market cap very undervalued High Barriers to entry, scalable business with no major capex High customer retention Over 112% of operating costs covered by recurrent revenue Directors hold about 25% of equity One of UK Top Fund Managers Anthony Cross holds about 13.1% equity Talk of dividend when profits are sustainable Profit making, recurrent and predictable revenue stream Central Banks, HM Treasury Debt Management, Tier 1 Banks and top global investment banks, financial instis, betting companies as customers Wide geographic footprint Increased required for transparency and audit trail following LIBOR and other financial scandals Fintech - a growing investment area for new funds coming on stream Potential takeover target due to low market cap May use funds for acquisition - which will perk up investor interest Good luck all :) | multibagger
07/5/2015 08:54 | Multi ...looking in on your recommendation !! | ccr1958
01/5/2015 07:58 | Hi janeann, I was not specifically refering to yesterday, but over the last few weeks. I guess with the churn we have seen, we have fresh blood in the stock. Good sign IMHO. Ready for next leg up, I would hope ! | multibagger
01/5/2015 07:31 | hi multibagger - I thought the 5m yesterday was a sell not a buy? | janeann
01/5/2015 06:42 | Good morning all :) ARC chart is getting interesting with the imminent formation of a "Golden Cross" if the price holds up. Volumes are also picking up which is always a good sign. If and when we get an update on contracts/trading update, ARC will rapidly rerate. I get the impression that a fund may be building a stake with the 5m being bought in chunks. Good luck all ! free stock charts from uk.advfn.com O/T: Another of my big holdings - CTP seems to be stirring as well. Oilbuy....are you still in ARC + CTP ? | multibagger

30/4/2015 08:10 | Zak says it can go to 0.0035p according to his charts....let us wait and see. I would be delighted if it does ! | multibagger
29/4/2015 17:32 | Decent day with a good uptick and hoping it consolidates the share price. Interesting to see bigger buys coming in. I think that a fair share price would be upwards of 0.004p Last time on announcement of a major contract win, we moved pretty rapidly. So if ARC moves this time, it could be pretty rapid as well...but whether it can sustain the momentum is a different matter. Good luck all :) | multibagger
29/4/2015 15:00 | well its rare for me to time things quite so well; nice to see .0025p being paid. Presumably Cross increased stake was as a result of the significance of the recent contract win - and potential for further similar contracts .... or for a takeout | janeann
29/4/2015 14:59 | It meets the Liontrust Economic Advantage criteria. At this insanely low valuation it offers a very significant margin of safety. Share consolidation will occur at some point and then we will be a penny share and dividend paying as well. A takeover is a real possibility at this marketcap and given its niche/IP strength. | multibagger
29/4/2015 14:36 | Why would someone like Anthony Cross take a 13% stake in this company? He'll never be able to sell them on the open market- it's far to illiquid. Either he's hoping for a takeout at some point, or genuinely believes in the potential of the expertise of Arcontech in the field in which they specialise in. | harebridge
29/4/2015 14:28 | Well Janeann seems to have brought us some good luck :) | multibagger
29/4/2015 14:23 | well something is stirring here, lots of buyers | tom111
29/4/2015 13:49 | We could end up blue today and more to come if volumes hold up.
29/4/2015 13:43 | multi bagger - thanks, and I like quite boards. Was very surprised these retraced as far as it did after the recent contract win. | janeann
29/4/2015 13:36 | Some decent buying over the last couple of days.... | harebridge
29/4/2015 13:10 | Some buying interest it appears...we may close blue today :) | multibagger |
