I thnk another positive in today's announcement is that we can expect good news in next week's results. THey are hardly going to announce a dividend policy and then not deliver on the results that will pay for it

It's not just rising production but also falling costs. I am expecting 2p per share which at current prices provides a 3.5% yield. MOre to the point is the principle this establishes. If the shareprice cannot provide a capital return then this is the way to keep shareholders engaged and to attract others. It should also underpin the share price.

is my maths right? As an example, if a company is on a PE of 10, and pay 10% of profits as dividends, dividend represents 10% of share price? Not sure what PE ARG is currently trading on, but it's not 10 is is?

However, when sentiment shifts ar. is going to look very attractive indeed.

Fantastic exploration grades out today. Looking forward to the new reserve estimates. I guess the annual results wil be out in the next couple of weeks.

I guess we were always going to revisit 50p once 60 didnt hold....
Good opportunity as we in a strong position, not like some marginal plays out there.

surely the share price has to be higher now than it was in 2011- ok, fewer gold ultrabulls now, but we are producing and there has been more positive exploration to boot.
