Posted at 11/2/2024 23:21 by jlondon $3B is the 100% of the takeover by Gina & SQM [AZS owns only 60%].$3B is the cals to see how WH Ireland in their latest broker target price of 11.2p dated 29.1.24 was derived from [specifically said the basis is due to the same geology etc]. So, 11.2p was re-calculated to an implied mkt cap. Then, the market cap was taken as a % of the $3bn to see what % WH Ireland attributed it to. It is just benchmarking as norm used by all analysts. Conclusion: WH Ireland's 11.2p target price based on same geology suggests only 10% of the $3bn takeout price. However, ARV currently trading at 1% @£32m mkt cap at 1.5p. ==IN SHORT, IT IS EASIER TO SEE WHAT IS FAIR VALUE AT THIS STAGE.=== |
