AquaBounty Technologies, Inc. (AIM: ABTU; OTC: AQBT), a biotechnology company focused on enhancing productivity in the aquaculture market, announces that on 6 October 2016 it submitted a request to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") to withdraw the Company's registration statement on Form 10 (the "Registration Statement"), which was initially filed with the SEC on 25 April 2014 and announced on 28 April 2014. AquaBounty has withdrawn its Registration Statement as a procedural matter, due to the lapse of time that has transpired since its filing. This action does not affect the Company's ability to refile a separate registration statement in the future.
